Magnificent antique enamel silver gilt made in Austria snuff box artist signed Tschiedet. The snuff box depicts a beautiful nude lady reclining with a cherub by her side, and another lady in the background. The enamel work is signed Tschiedet in the lower right by the lady's feet. The top of the box has beautiful hand scrolled silver flowers highlighted with white enamel. The center has a beautiful nude lady reclining with another lady behind her that may be Diana. To her left is a sweet little cherub with his bow and arrows. The background has a landscape scene. This is a very high quality artist signed Austrian silver gilt enamel snuff box in excellent condition. The inside has maker's marks and numbers. On the top and on the inside of the box it has maker's marks 935, other numbers, sterling, and also says Made In Austria. The sides and bottom of the box are black enamel with a silver 3 letter initial EGB on the bottom underside. This is a museum quality snuff box measuring 3-1/4 inches long, 2 inches wide, and 3/8 inch deep.
