A fabulous antique Art Deco bathroom doorknob set with matching plates, dating from the 1920’s or 1930’s. This set includes a pair of plates and a pair of knobs with the connecting spindle and set screws. Like most antique bathroom sets, this features a chrome doorknob and thumb-turn plate for the inside of the bathroom, to coordinate with the plumbing fixtures, while the outside features a darker plate that would coordinate with the rest of the hardware in the house. The backplates feature an unusual elongated shape with an overlapped border, and the doorknobs are ornamented with a matching design, with a triangular shape in the middle of the knob.
