Seventeen hard-to-find matching antique brass door hardware sets in Russell & Erwin's "Saxonia" pattern, with knobs and plates, circa 1909. The doorknobs feature an elegant fourfold design with volutes and an overlapping scale pattern; the plates feature a smooth raised center with a scroll and scale border. This hardware is in very good to excellent condition, with a few very minor dents on some of the doorknobs (pictured). The door knobs measure 2 ¼” in diameter and 2” deep; the plates are 2 1/2” by 7 1/2”. Each set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates. Matching antique Arts and Crafts door hardware sets, dating from the early 1900’s. Each set includes the doorknobs with the connecting rod and set screws, and a pair of doorplates. The backplates feature a graceful curved shape with a simple beveled border. The door knobs have a sixfold pattern with a graceful design. This door hardware is in very good antique condition. Each doorknob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 1 7/8” deep; the door plates are 2 ½” by 7 3/4”. This hardware can be used with either one of our modern latch sets or an antique mortise lock.
