The front has the carving of two stylized Phoenix Birds and the back with carvings of cloud motifs.The phoenix was commonly referred to as the "King of Birds." This is a nice small sancai glazed tazza cup from the Tang dynasty ((618 – 906 A.D.). The tazza is decorated with small round spots of flower like pattern with three cream spots and a brown dash in the center. The background is glazed in green color. The glaze on the outside of the tazza flows just below the cup, exposing the buff color of the stem and the spread out foot.
There is no repair or restoration, crack, chip or glaze fritting. Some abrasions can be expected. Overall, it is in very good condition.
The measurement of the Tang dynasty sancai tazza: Height 6.2cm and the Width 11.5cm.

This is a large bowl with deep sides rising from a short flared foot gradually for the first two-thirds, then steeply to a lightly indented vertical lip. The interior of the bowl is covered with glossy iron-rich black glaze with five lustrous russet-silvery glaze streaks, like a star, radiating from the base with the black glazed background. The exterior mostly black glaze underneath, the unglazed foot showing the buff body with the foot rim burnt to a very light mushroom color.
In good condition. No repair or restoration, only with some minute bubble holes and abrasion.
The measurement of the bowl: The diameter is 18.8cm and the height is 8.5cm.

This is a Han dynasty funerary pottery tripod censer of gray color, painted with pigment. There are traces of red and white color pigment on the body as well as on the edge. The tripod censer stands on three short pediform feet. The holes above the body and the raising of the three feet suggests that it may have been used as an incense burner. Such tripod censer in good condition is hard to come by.
Provenance: DoveBid Auction, Nov 2003.
The tripod censer is in good condition. Minor firing fault, abrasion and fading to part of the pigment. No crack, chip, repair or restoration.

This is a large size Liao dynasty (907–1125 A.D.)molded polychrome earthenware dish with leaded glaze. It rests on a short foot rim, a slightly flat inverted base before rising upwards. It has a simple floral motive. On the underside, the glaze is in dark brown in colour, all the way down just before the short foot rim exposing the earthenware.
There is no crack, chip, repair or any restoration. Minor glaze fritting (picture 4) at roughly about 10 and 1 o'clock. Three very small spur mark (light gray in color) can also be seen in picture number 2. Other than some minor pinholes, it is in very good condition.
The measurement of the Liao dynasty plate: Diameter 31.2cm and the Height 6.4cm.

This is Song Dynasty (960 – 1276) yingqing jar with cover. The motif on top of the cover is molded. On the body, just below the neck, on the shoulder, it is incised with what looks like S-shaped sunray, on the centre part of the body, it is incised with lotus flowers and foliage and at the lower part towards the base, it is incised with upright leaf lappets.
Some minor abrasions. There are no chip, crack, restoration or repair. It is in good condition.
The measurement of the Yingqing Jar is: Height 18.1cm and the Width is 13.2cm
