Victorian smelling salts bottle, large hobnail-cut to the sides and faceted stopper. Square bottle, with octagonal cut neck. Measures just 7.9 cm high and 3.6 cm square (3.1/8 inches by 1.3/8 inches square). Beautiful dark red colour. Two chips in the stopper, and tiny edge frits. Neck has one minor small chip. I have for sale out of a private collection of fine Boston Sandwich glass a super rare Paneled Pebbles cologne perfume bottle in Clambroth. This bottle is authentic Boston Sandwich glass circa 1830 - 1860. There have been a few examples known in the Paneled Pebbles pattern but very very hard to find in this color. CONDITION: This bottle is in very fine condition with a slight nick on one of the blue flower leaves, very hard to see you have to feel it. Also the ground stopper part that slides into the bottle has a flat chip but could easily be professionally polished off. The bottle is in pristine condition with no damage. What a wonderful find in such fine condition with hardly no damage! The bottom of the bottle has a polished pontil mark. The bottle with stopper measures 7 1/2" tall. SORRY SOLD: Here is a very, very rare little bottle! Probably German dating c 1775-1825. It is blown in a hexagonal mold with a tooled lip and ground and polished pontil scar on base. It is also very finely threaded about 2/3’s the way up and also on the stopper that appears to have been made in 2 pieces and is very finely fit. The precision of a clockmaker!!! Beautiful yellow-green glass with lots of seed bubbles. Wonderful RARE early piece. Bottle is about 5†tall. It has a few minute flea bites to the treading, otherwise perfect. I have never seen another in nearly 50 years of collecting! Price is firm.   « Less

it's Victorian and fabulous. Champagne beveled crystal in oval shape, triangular design caged on this spectacular ormolu perfume brass bottle. the casing, decorated meticulously with leaves, interaction on the tree corners next to the incredible champagne beveled 3" x 3.5" crystals/glasses. glass stopper hatched to the very ornate intricate group of leaves, art deco geometric design. footed delicately on three leg rolled curved leaves on three sides. highlighted rose on the very end interior, filigree tube interior. my very best guess the glass should be situated inside the tube for perfume keep. the overall height is about over 8.5" tall, from one leg to another 4.5" wide, and in excellent condition.
