All original Arts & Crafts oil lamp. Signed Kosmos and Brenner this all brass lamp is a fine example of the Aesthetic Movement and Arts & Crafts styles popular in this period. It is all highly decorative cast and pressed brass with bright inset glass jewels in the shade. All original and in good working order. It has one minor dent and two pin holes on the base. The very top edge of the shade is also slightly out of round. Over-all this lamp displays very well and it's condition issues do not affect it's look. Fresh to the market from a fine Boerum Hill Brooklyn brownstone. Fine original patina. 14 " tall x 7" shade diameter.   « Less

We have for sale an antique oil or kerosene brass floor lamp. The lamp will adjust in height. The floral globe may not be an antique but it is old and beautiful . The painted globe is bright and vivid with no cracks or chips. There is a burner although the flame spreader is missing. The burner container is brass with an ornate design. The brass stand has marble top and marble bottom. There are no cracks or chips in the marble. The brass stand is in great condition very solid and sturdy. The overall height with the pole down is 59 inches tall by 14 9/16 inches by 14 9/16 inches and weighs 442 pounds. UPS ground or Greyhound will be the shipper. The pattern on the globe is raised with no cracks or chips. The burner is a Royal. The burner container is brass with an ornate design. The brass stand needs to be polished. There are discoloration on the top shelf. The lamp is solid and sturdy. There is a date of April 1876 on the pole. THIS ITEM IS CROSSED MERCHANDISED IN THE OIL LAMPS SECTION. Antique B & H Library Kerosene Hanging Oil apparent signs of aging to the gold gilt, pictures shown above. Pulley chain is in Great Working Condition. Simply hold onto both sides of oil lamp and pull downward and it glides down very smoothly with ease. To raise the pulley chain back up simply again hold onto both sides of lamp and gently push up. Hanging Lead crystals are quite beautiful. Milk glass painted lamp shade is in Great Condition.
