Tax tables were brought out on wagons into the fields and set up to collect taxes from the local farmers. Antique early Irish furniture dairy table c1820 to 1840. This is a superb piece of true period antique Irish pine. It has a wonderful old waxed finish, and is in great condition. The top is made from two wide boards.The frame has mortise and pin construction, and there are wide hand cut dovetails on the back board and drawer sides. This form is quite rare and it is the only one we have ever had the opportunity to offer. It measures 61 inches wide, 27 and one half inches deep, 30 and one half inches to the the work surface, 35 and one half inches to the top of the backsplash, 7 inches to the bottom rack surface. There are 12 inches between the rack and the apron below the drawers. One drawer is 31 and one half by 7 inches, and twodrawers are 9 by 7 inches. The back of the milk bench is finished so it could be attractively used as an island in the center of a kitchen. The top is a great work surface, and the milk rack is perfect for crockery and copper pots. It would also work beautifully in a potting room for arranging flowers.   « Less

Early Spanish Hispanic Furniture. This 17th century antique "Catalan walnut dining table" is in excellent condition with just a few minor repairs done during its 300 year lifespan. First quarter of the 17th century. This early antique Catalan table was made from solid walnut. The original top is amazing single walnut board. The original iron braces end in hand forged leaves. The legs have wonderful hand carved decorativedetail. This is a very rare piece of Spanish furniture. This table measures 55 inches long by 33 and three quarter inches deep and 32 and one quarter inches high. The top is an astounding two inches thick and the leg supports have huge floating dovetails that go all across the underside. This dovetailed joint has kept the top perfectly flat over 3 centuries.   « Less

Period harvest tables that are all original in this size cost many thousands of dollars.This antique harvest table has a hand planed top,mortised straight tapered legs and single board construction. Period Antique Swedish Alder root breakfast table c1820 (2nd wood Nordic pine). This wonderful and very rare table top measures 34 and one half inches by 35 inches and is 29 and one quarter inches high. When the table is tilted up it measures 48 inches high. All original except the enhanced hand rubbed finish. Tables made from Alder Roots are impossible to find. The Alder root takes forever to grow to a size that can be cut into many small pieces and put on Nordic Pine underwood.   « Less

Period Antique English Chippendale furniture, "Pembroke table" English rosette & ribbon carved mahogany Pembroke table c1780 to 1790. This Pembroke table is truly beautiful made from the finest mahogany with rosette and ribbon carving. This table was made by a true master craftsman with its shaped leaves with handcraved edges. Some old minor repairs but other wise in excellent condition with an enhanced old finish. This period Chippendale pembroke measures 32 inches long by 20 inches wide. The two leaves measure 8 and one quarter inches and it is 28 and one eight inches high. The drawer is 18 and one eight inches wide and two and one half inches deep.   « Less

We have for sale an extra nice dining set from the 1930's or 1940's in the art deco style. It appears to be dark oak. The table has two leaf's one on each end of the table that sides out. When not in use the leaf's would be stored under the table top. The legs are art deco style along with the chair legs and buffet server. The chairs are in great condition with not stains or tears. The buffet has two doors that opens to storage area. There are 2 drawers between the doors and they have dove tail joints. The complete set is solid and sturdy. The chairs and table does not wobble, like I said the set is very solid. We do not know the maker or the exact date it was made. The buffet is 38 inches tall by 60 3/8 inches long by 21 1/4 inches wide and weighs 101 pounds. The table with the leaf's is 78 inches long by 30 3/8 inches tall by 38 inches wide and weighs 97 pounds. With the leaf's out it is 54 inches long. The side chairs each are 38 1/2 inches tall by 20 inches side to side by 20 1/2 inches from front to back and each weighs 15 pounds. The arm chair is 38 1/2 inches tall by 26 inches from side to side by 22 3/16 inches from front to back and weighs 20 pounds. UPS Freight will be the shipper.
