English Wood Burned and Painted Arts & Crafts Table Item# 10328 Circa 1900 Wonderful English hotpoker wood burned Arts & Crafts table painted with red poppies retouched by California artist Kathleen Caid. There are ved poppies and lots of trailing green foliage on all exposed outside surfaces. The table was carved but not painted when I bought it in England in the 1990''s. I have added my Nightingale magic to make it a exquisite work of art. There are the usual losses of finish at vacuum level. It is structually sound and made with dowls. The shipping of this table will be at the buyers expense and would need a professional mover such as Craters and Freighters who can give you a quote by email or phone.Blanket wrap would be fine. I would suggest using glass to protect the surface, if you are using it for other than display. This is a treasure, made by hand at the turn of the last century. Decorators, it is perfect for cabin decor in ski areas such as Vail and Aspen. Knowing how hard it is to find good Arts & Crafts poker wood furniture. This is a lovely decorative accessory.
