This is a pretty high polished wood English tilt top table with a surrounding brass looped gallery. The table has three curved legs and the table can stand with the top folded up facing forward or locked together with a brass push pull locking device to use for serving tea. The condition is very good and it is one of those great pieces that can stand in a corner looking great when not in use. This is a fabulous handmade Arts & Crafts decorated table that doubles as a hamper with the linen insert when you unlock the hooked lid. The piece has pokerwood geometrics at the top and bottom. Each side is decorated with a different floral display. The piece is resently polished and is in very good condition. There is a sizing hairline on the lid that does not effect it''s function. It is a great decorative accessory for any vintage decor. The table can be boxed and shipped by Fed Ex or blanket wrapped by a shipper. Our current favorite shipper is Sterling Van Lines located in Los Angeles for pick up on the West Coast. F-12600 American cherry wood burl display cabinet Circa 1890''s 62'' high by 42'' wide and 10'' deep $850.00 This display piece was from my antique store and has repairs and restoration work to the burl. The mirror in the center has been replaced but the cabinet glass is old. The porcelain handles are replacements. The piece has a beautiful curvy form with lots of carved flourishes at the top. Because this is a restored piece and large, I would suggest a professional mover of choice to be arranged at the buyers expense. I do not arrange shipping on furniture, but will be available for pick up seven days a week. My current favorite shipper is Sterling Van Lines they were very professional and reasonable. They can be reached for a California pick-up. They will arrange a transfere to a van line going to your state and piggyback on a load going East or South. This is a beautiful three panel screen in the Eastlake tradition. It is ebonized mat black wood with gold painted inner ridges. There is anice gallery turned trim on both the top and bottom of the screen. The three panels of the screen have been covered with a English Victorian handpainted silk textile. Each panel depicts a group of colorful flowers and a butterfly or moth. All three panels have different flowers. The textile is signed by the artist MCA and dated 1905. The back of the screen has a simple dark fabric upholstery. The screen and textile coverings are in very good vintage condition but show slight wear and nicks to the feet as would be expected in a piece of furniture of this age. The finish trim on each panel is a floral cotton lace embellished with French lingerie ribbon and flowers. This was a project of my previous design firm Nightingale Designs and was assembled in the late 1980''s. It has been in my home as a wall decoration since my store closed. Because the hinges are old the screen does not fold and will need to be tranported by a professional shipper. All pick up, wrapping and shipping are the buyer''s choice and the buyers expense. This is an unusual English Arts & Crafts magazine rack that I purchased in Scotland in the 1980''s. It has an oak frame and base with hand tooled floral leather sides and brass handle. The leather is raised and tooled then upholstered with nail heads to the sides of the rack. The flowers are hand painted in purple flowers. The piece is in very good condition with the exception of a spot on one side where some idiot put a price tag. That can be fixed. Decorative handpainted floral sections. Three fabric covered brocade shelves. Glass front & side. There is no front plate to the locking mechandism just a hollowed out key hole. There is a makers plaque inside the cabinet door which reads: Ray & Miles Cabinet Manufactures and upholsterers, Liverpool. The over all condition is very good. It was used for display of smalls in my antiques store for ten years and then come home with me when I retired. It is a lovely piece.
