Made at the Mintons China Works, this tile depicting a romanticised chinese landscape comes from the picture tile series the Pseudo Delft Landscapes. First introduced in the 1850''s and found on tiles made through the 1870''s. Basically it is an English tile trying to look like a Dutch Delft tile trying to look like Chinese export porcelain. There condition is excellent with little roughness on the edge. Look for other tiles from this series elsewhere on the BungalowBILL site.
