A rare pair of antique cast bronze exterior door plates in P. & F. Corbin’s “Cushion” pattern, circa 1882, with swinging keyhole covers. When we cleaned the paint off these backplates, we were astonished to discover that these are either silver plated or nickel plated, very unusual for Eastlake hardware. These entrance doorplates feature a background made to look like a puffed cushion, accented with rows of tassels and a pattern of circles. The swinging keyhole covers are ornamented with the same design, featuring a tiny row of tassels across the top. These plates are in very good antique condition; the plating has worn off the lower corner of one plate, showing some bronze underneath. Each plate measures 8” by 2”. The price is for both plates. These are 22 matching antique cast bronze flush sash lifts with a rose design, circa 1895-1910. This is a very rare design of exceptional quality, featuring incredibly detailed casting. Each end of the sash lift is ornamented with a gorgeous design of roses with leaves, acanthus, anthemia, and volutes. These window lifts are in excellent condition with just a few minor scratches on some of the plates (pictures). Each plate measures 5 1/8” long, 1 ¾” wide, and 5/8” deep overall. This is a fabulous antique cast bronze mail slot, dating from the early 1900’s, with its original matching inside trim. The letter slot features a simple beveled border; the hinged door is marked “Letters.” This letter box plate is in excellent condition with a beautiful patina. We left the green paint on this set because we liked it; if you prefer to have it stripped and cleaned, we can remove the paint for a small additional charge. The front plate measures 8 ¼” by 2 ½” overall, with an opening of 5” by 1 3/8”; the inside plate is 6 7/8” by 2 1/8”. The simplicity of this set would make it a lovely addition to any decorating style – it would be particularly nice in an Arts & Crafts bungalow. NSL4-RW   « Less

Antique Arts & Crafts door hardware sets, dating between the early 1900’s and 1920’s. The doorknobs feature a beautiful two-tone finish, with a highlighted border and a darker center. The plates are arched at top and bottom, with a repetition of the same design found on the knob. This door hardware is in excellent condition with a great patina. The door knobs measure 2 ¼” in diameter and 2” deep; the plates are 2 ½” by 7 5/8”. Each hardware set consists of a pair of doorknobs with the connecting rod, screws, and two backplates (enough hardware for one door). THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH SET; THERE IS NOW ONE SET AVAILABLE. The doorknobs feature a beautiful threefold design with a flower in the center, surrounded by volutes and leaves, with a bead-and-reel border. The back of each knob is ornamented with a variation of an egg-and-dart pattern, with leaves. The backplates feature an intricate design on the top and bottom, connected on the sides by a bead-and-reel border. These sets are in excellent condition. The door knobs are 2 ¼” in diameter and 2” deep; the backplates are 7 3/8” by 2 3/8”; and the plate on each mortise lock is 5 3/8” long and 7/8” wide. Circa 1905, the back plates feature an anthemion at the top and the bottom, surrounded by volutes and intricate foliate detail. The door knobs feature a threefold looped border intertwined with leaves. These sets are in excellent condition. This is a fantastic pair of antique cast iron 4x4” hinges, c. 1880’s, with rare decorative steeple finials ornamented with a geometric design. Each leaf of the hinges features a semicircle with a beaded border, surrounded by stylized flowers and geometric detail. The back of the hinge is also ornamented with a floral motif. These four-knuckle Eastlake hinges are in excellent condition. Each hinge measures 4” wide overall, 4” tall, and 7 1/8” tall overall (from finial to finial). NHP21   « Less
