A remarkable antique 36†four-panel door ornamented on both sides with a floral design, suitable for either interior or exterior use. Dating from the late 19th Century, this poplar door was salvaged from a home in Kentucky. The door is particularly unusual in that it has the decorative design on both the front and the back, whereas most decorative doors have ornamentation only on one side. This door features an urn with a bouquet of flowers and leaves, surrounded by chamfered panels. It measures 36†wide, 82†tall, and 1-3/4†thick.

Incredible set of three matching pairs of antique wooden shutters, salvaged from the Starck Family "Whiskey Mansion" in Springfield, TN. Dating from 1878, the mansion was built for a son of the Starck family by father John Starck, a whiskey distillery owner and the founder of Springfield National Bank. The shutters have not been painted and are made of poplar. Each shutter measures approximately 29-3/4" wide and 8' tall. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR EACH PAIR; THERE ARE THREE PAIRS AVAILABLE. Exquisite American beveled leaded glass window with a floral geometric design and zinc caning, dating from the early 1900s. It features a beveled geometric and diamond design with a central oval. Sprouting out of the oval medallion are stylized flowers and fleur-de-lis. The piece is completely symmetrical and can be used either horizontally or vertically. The wooden frame has a fabulous egg-and-dart border. The glass and frame are both in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edges. The frame has been painted white and has minor wear as pictured. The window measures 60-1/2" wide by 27-3/4" tall; the glass measures 51-3/4" wide by 18" tall. « Less

Unusual antique Federal period 42†interior doors with their original hinges. These doors are made of poplar and were salvaged from an 1823 home in Columbia, Tennessee, outside Nashville. The house was designed by architect Nathan Vaught and finished in 1823 for Major John Brown II, who named the house “Annoatuck,†an Indian word meaning “a windy hill.†Some are painted white on both sides; the one pictured is white on one side and has a faux finish on the other side. Condition may vary slightly. These doors measure 41-1/2†wide, 1-1/2†thick, and range in height from 78†to 80†tall (all measurements approximate). Matching 43†doors are also available, item # NED163. The mantel shelf features a repeating circle border around the edge, with supporting spindles underneath. The fireplace backboard and legs feature varying fluted stripes. The mantel legs each have two projecting decorative brackets, and the opening is squared-off. Stately antique Federal wood mantel, salvaged from an 1823 home in Columbia, Tennessee, outside Nashville. The house was designed by architect Nathan Vaught and finished in 1823 for Major John Brown II, who named the house “Annoatuck,†an Indian word meaning “a windy hill.†The fireplace begins in a squared projecting mantel shelf, moving down to a body of beveled edges and recessed panels. The mantel's legs have three stair-stepped levels with curving details in the outermost section. The mantel measures approximately 83" wide, 60" tall and 10" deep, and has a firebox opening of approximately 54-1/2" wide and 42-3/4" tall. Coordinating mantels from the same home are also available for purchase, NFPM18-RW and NFPM19-RW. Doors, windows, and wainscoting from the same house are also available.
