The diamond is very high quality measuring .20 points. The diamond is an old cut H color VS-2 clarity much better than normally found in pendants of this era. The bottom is inscribed "Eliza Ormrod died Feb 1 1849 aged 3 years." The front of the mourning brooch is an artist signed miniature painting. The signature reads "T. Foll." There is a miniscule chip on the crystal cover along the edge at 5 o'clock. The portrait itself is in mint condition protected for more than 150 years by the crystal cover.
