Pair of Antique Streamline Art Deco Sconces Circa 1930
Lovely pair of Circa 1930 Streamline design wall sconces. Original antique backplates, and original antique shades.
The lined design of the backplates, which also matches the line design in the shades, just screams "Streamline Deco." The contrasting cast iron frame with the nickel plated steel elements are so very striking.
Pewter finished backplates, paired with light yellow and contrasting clear design shades.
Measurements:
* Height: 10 ½" overall.
* Width: 6 ½" maximum (shade width).
* Projection: 7" from the wall into the room.
These sconces have been completely rewired with all new sockets and wire to UL standards. The regular, E26 base sockets are rated for up to 100 watts each. We suggest using a low profile, globe-shaped light bulb, such as a G45 E26.
$412.50 for the pair...plus shipping.
$25.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.

Pair of Art Deco Streamline Wall Sconces Circa 1938
These sconces were made by Mid-West Mfn of Kansas City, KS. This composition is from their "Chesterton" Series, circa 1938. Nice design for the more Streamline design motif of the 1938 Deco era.
Sears, when they put them into their lighting catalog, changed the name to "Mellow-Glow" for their 1938 Lightmaster Catalog.
The metal finish is pewter.
Measurements:
* Height: 8"
* Width: 6 ½"
* Projection: 4 ½" from the wall into the room.
Very impressive.
These sconces have been totally rewired with high grade sockets and new central lead wire. Sockets are UL approved for up to 100 watts incandescent. The rotary switch was also replaced.
We will supply full mounting kits for these sconces.

Pure wool winter jacket, in three-quarters length with 1980s electric blue colour. Raglan style shoulder/sleeve with overstitching, vertical pockets, cuff tags and metallic style buttons. Made in England, maker is David Barry, London. UK size 12 - New Zealand size 12. (Equivalent USA size would be an 8). Excellent condition, except on close examination I've found two small moth marks - not holes, but a tiny loss of top layer of wool. Really, not noticeable. One on sleeve, one on back. Length from shoulder is approx. 76 cm. Great colour! « Less

Pair of Very Impressive French 5-Light Large Outstanding Sconces Circa 1910-20+
We think these are an excellent choice for an area needing a significant pair of sconces.
Measurements:
* Height: These impressive antique wall statements are 43" tall.
* Width: 19" shade-tip to shade-tip.
* Projection: 12" from the wall into the room.
* Weight: Each sconce weighs in at about 30 pounds.
We completely re-wired these French sconces and removed the French sockets to convert them to our American bulbs and current.
The mounting of these sconces is more unique than normal. That shield medallion, on the backplate between the arms, hides the main mounting device. The medallion itself is held onto the backplate by one slotted ball-screw, just visible in the picture. Behind the medallion, the mounting device uses a large bore NPS all-thread to a heavy duty specially-made crossbar, which we will supply. A completely sophisticated mounting and finish for a great pair of French antique sconces.
This fixture comes complete with our neat little candle style LED bulb. This little 2 watt bulb produces almost as much light as a 25 watt incandescent bulb, but only nibbles at the electricity. AND...it lasts 30,000 hours. We naturally carry replacements if an accident, or a matching option, deems necessary at some time in the future.
$2,475.00 for the complete pair, with the shown shades and LED bulbs, plus freight shipping.
Freight Shipping will be calculated and invoiced separately after purchase. If you would like a shipping quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one! « Less

Art Deco Three Shade Chandelier by Lincoln Circa 1935
This three light chandelier comes from Lincoln's "The Grosvenore Series," and is in their catalog of 1935.
Very Streamline in design with a mock world décor stem, which reminded us of the world's fair at that time.
Lincoln boasted a Bronze finish with contrasting silver elements (which were really the base aluminum metal)...and over this amount of time...the finish has mellowed...faded...and is as 80 year old finishes would be expected to appear. Still...for its age...nice contrasting like an old Persian carpet.
Nice amber shades in pretty darn good condition.
Measurements:
* Height: 19"
* Diameter: 13 ½"
Overall height can be adjusted longer by special request. Please contact us for pricing.
Totally re-wired with new sockets and wire in our UL shop.
Really quite nicely sized for a smaller room, say a bedroom or small study.
Price: $825.00 plus reasonable shipping charges.
$50.00 for Ground Shipping within the contiguous 48 states.
