Unusual hinged snap bangle, being floral engraved sterling silver and New Zealand greenstone (jade). Typical 1960s style, from maker H & S, with decorated front and plain rear. Fitted with a safety chain. Inside is engraved " To Kathy, from 'Attic' 80, 1969". Bangle is 9 mm wide, and the internal diameter is 59 mm wide and 53 mm top to bottom (it's oval in shape). The three greenstone jade panels are domed bevelled shapes. Excellent condition all round.   « Less

ANT-525 Art Deco Mid-West Mnf. Top-of-the-Line Six Light Chandelier with Original Shades This chandelier was the best from the line that Mid-West called: The Beverly. Nice design, which has the more Streamline motif of the 1936 Deco era. The finish is old gold finish with nickel accents. Very striking. This fixture could be lengthened by adding chain links. The chandelier has been totally rewired with high grade sockets, and new central lead wire. Sockets are UL approved for up to 100 watts for the outside slip shades. If incandescent light bulbs are to be used, we recommend using a conservative 60 - 65 watts to protect the fragile antique glass shades from excessive heat. There is one socket for each slip shade, and two sockets for the bottom disk, which takes smaller bulbs. Measurements: * Height: 22" tall. Gorgeous large aquamarine ring, 5 stones, the central oblong cushion-shaped aquamarine between pairs of circular-cut blue zircons. Mount is 9ct gold. (Stamped 9 ct). Face of ring measures 12 mm by 21 mm. This ring has an independent valuation, which describes the stones as follows: Central aquamarine stone is 10.8 mm by 8.95 mm, estimated at 3.30 carats, lightly included with medium colour quality. The circular blue zircons (note: genuine zircons, not synthetic) are approx. 5.15 mm to 5.35 mm diameter, est. total 3 carats, of good quality. The valuation gives a used retail market value of $1100.00, and a new comparison value of $3,000.00. (We offer it for sale at much less than this). Condition: Mount and all claws are in excellent condition, under a jeweller's loupe the outer stones can be seen to be abraded on the crowns commensurate with age and use. Not readily noticeable to the naked eye. Quite a large ring fitting: English size U (USA size 10.1/4) with an internal diameter of 20.04 mm. Very handsome and striking-looking ring, with very prettily coloured stones. Total ring weight is 4.91g. Probably dates 1920s to 1950s.   « Less

Venetian style glass fish, possibly Murano glass, bright coloured specks in a white ground. Clear fins and gills. Great example of the glass blower’s art — this fish is hollow inside, just white glass walls. New Zealand Hokitika Glass also made a fish like this, so may be one of theirs or could be Venetian. Fish is a trout, and measures 15.5 cm high, 37.5 cm long, and 11.5 cm wide at the widest point. He has white glass applied eyes and a pontil glass plug on his belly. Excellent condition.   « Less

ANT-523 American Bronze and Brass 17 Light Foyer or Entrance Way Chandelier Exceptional quality is definitely here. A bronze frame from circa 1910 to 1930 is arranged for 16 lights around the periphery, with one light in the center. This light is simply gorgeous, and gives an ambiance that is hard to find. In addition to the nice red bronze frame, the panels are light amber Mica, which adds such a nice ambiance. Measurements: * Height: 54" tall, but can be shortened or lengthened for project requirements. * Width: 39" outside bulb to outside bulb. This fixture has been totally re-wired in our UL shop, and will have the UL label as such. New sockets and wire were installed. 16 medium base sockets, with ONE medium based socket in the center. Each socket can accommodate a light bulb up to 100 watts. We chose the G30 light bulb with opal finish for this chandelier, which has an output of 40 watts each. The middle socket has the same G30 bulb installed there (as we see this as an accent Mica focal point), but it can be changed to other types of bulbs for different results, including large corn cob LED bulbs for a larger lighting power potential. There are bulbs with higher wattages, but we thought 16 bulbs yielding 640 watts of lighting might be best for most applications. Naturally, the bulb in the center is really an accent for the Mica panels...so we discounted its output for general lighting contribution. The chandelier is complete, and comes with all the mounting hardware. Ready for installation. Price: $3,850.00 plus careful crate packing and freight shipping.
