Exceptional and very rare Stockton Rekston California Pottery vase decorated with flowers and leaves and bird handles. Super color and artwork. EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION. No chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Crazing. Bottom marked with logo. Vase is 14 1/4" tall and 7 1/4" wide. The Stockton Terra Cotta Company was started in Stockton, California, in 1891. Pair of Outstanding Solid Brass and Bronze Gothic Dragon Sconces Solid brass/bronze griffins with spread wings, holding a pair of rather nice crackle glass shades from about the 1920s. When received, they had European sockets in them, so the origin is a bit of a mystery. We would guess either German or French by the type of casting and electrical wiring. Wherever they are from, they are simply outstanding. Measurements: Height: 22" overall, measured from the top of the backplate to the bottom of the shade. Width: 11 ½" (wing spread) Projection: 11" from the wall into the room. We have totally re-wired these sconces in our UL shop with American medium base sockets and new supply wire. They do not, and never did, have switches, since that is not necessarily a European custom. We changed the mounting, as well. It now mounts to a standard American electrical box (with the button shown above the dragon's back) to a standard American crossbar, which will be supplied $1,375.00 for this great pair of dragon sconces with original amber crackle glass shades...plus $25.00 for Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states. Very rare Roseville Pottery Creamware traced and decorated wall pocket. Exceptionally large form with great shape and color. EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is a non-showing small and flat chip to the back side of the wall pocket. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Crazing. Wall pocket is 17 3/4" tall and 6 3/4" wide.
