Original older PAIR of chandeliers with an original antique BRASS hi/lo finish. We believe the original maker was French since it had European sockets in them when obtained. We changed to American standard medium base sockets to use our normal bulbs. The contrast of the BRASS body is quite striking. These chandeliers have a rich formality, and yet just have so much good detail. As mentioned, these chandeliers have been completely re-wired in our UL shop. A UL mounting kit will be supplied for our standard electrical boxes. Measurements: Diameter: 9" Height: 21" tall, but can be modified if desired. Please contact us for pricing. Unusual pair of porcelain coffee cups and saucers, decoration is a shipping flag. They have gilded rims and handles. One has the words "Den Gode Dreng" in gold on the sides. (Danish: The Good Boy"). The other has "Den flittige Pige" (Danish again: The Diligent Girl"). Cups are 6 cm high by 6.5 cm diameter plus handles, saucers are 11.5 cm diameter. No maker's marks. Excellent condition. Original older chandelier with an original antique BRASS hi/lo finish. We believe the original maker was French since it had a European socket in the chandelier when we acquired it. The contrast of the BRASS body is quite striking. This chandelier has a rich formality, and yet just has so much good detail. The chandelier has been completely re-wired in our UL shop. We installed a mogul based porcelain socket which takes the large bulbs. We did this so we could use our round induction bulb 40W-E39-01. It uses only 40 watts, but produces the equivalent of over 200 watts of incandescent lighting power. Of course, you could just replace this induction bulb with a mogul based incandescent bulb or use an adapter...which we can supply...to reduce it to a medium base socket for all other bulbs. We will give you the existing induction bulb with the purchase of the fixture. Many bulb options to choose from here. In addition...a UL mounting kit will be supplied for our standard electrical boxes. Measurements: Diameter: 12" Height: 23" tall, but can be modified if desired. (Please contact us for pricing.) Unusual sapphire and diamond ring - 10 stones in all, set in a diagonal pattern across the face of the 18ct yellow gold ring. Ring face measures 6 mm by 16 mm (1/4 inch by 5/8 inch). Scroll detail to shoulders. Maker's mark inside band is DHJ. Full British hallmark for 18ct gold, made in London 1977. Ring fitting is English size R (USA size 8.3/4) with an internal diameter of 18.79 mm. Condition: some minor facet abrading to sapphires, and some damage to one stone, some small nicks, but all only visible under a loupe, and commensurate with age. Very nice coloured junior navy sapphires of good quality.   « Less

Sterling Silver folding fruit or pocket knife, mother of pearl handle. Larger than normal size, with attractive engraving to the silver band to the ferrule. Full British hallmark on the blade for Sheffield, 1918. Maker is William Needham. When open, knife measures 16.75 cm long, when closed it is 9.5 cm long. Apart from a sight bend in the tip of the blade (easily straightened) and a few shallow scratches in the same place, it is in very nice condition.   « Less

In the centre is Victorian gentleman dressed in the 18th or 19th century military fashion with epaulettes and a cut-away jacket. Lots of cross-hatching in this, so a genuinely old block.
