Circa 1930s, these sconces have been restored (cleaned up) and re-lacquered, but touches of the polychrome paint are still there. Lincoln called these sconces “The Triangle Line”. In their catalog, Lincoln says: “The triangle line gets its name from the suggestion of angles in the design, which add the modernistic effect to the style.” The shades are deeply embossed like carving and the design is excellent. Electrical: These sconces have been totally rewired in our UL shop. Normal bakelite sockets for everyday medium base bulbs have been installed, just like the originals. A rotary on/off switch has been renewed as well. The sconce mounts with one normal sconce mounting all-thread to a normal electrical box from within the case. All mounting hardware will be supplied. Measurements: Height: 11¾" Width: 4 ½" diameter slip shade. Projection: 6 ½" from the wall into the room. A very nice pair of sconces. Antique carved oak table from England and dating back to C.1910. This great looking table has hand carving to the top edge and a carved trestle base. It has a darker stain and has developed a wonderful aged patina with the tiger oak wood grain on the table top. There is a split in the top due to climate change causing movement in the wood which is only normal and there is minor wear throughout. Large Art Deco vase by popular maker, WMF (Germany). Silver plate with four Deco enamel diamonds on an incised band around the middle of the vase. Measures 33 cm high and 12.25 cm diameter (13 inches by 4.7/8 inches). There is some spotting on the silver plate on one side, and a few marks. Some wear around the bands area. 4 pieces of a Ridgways chamber set - the chamber pot, wash jug, toothbrush jar and the base and liner of the soap or sponge dish. The pattern is Cherry, and it carries a registration mark for the period 1895 to 1900. Chamber jug is 27 cm high, and the chamber pot is 23 cm diameter. Ring fitting is English size P (USA size7.1/2) with an internal diameter of 17.75 mm. Very good condition. Face of ring measures 6 mm by 17 mm wide. The corals are approx 2 mm diameter each.
