Art Deco - Lovely Bohemian Eight Shade COBALT BLUE Chandelier Circa 1920-30
Original antique chandelier, with original antique glassware and drops. The more recent cut glass shades are really quite lovely too.
The beautiful chandelier is Bohemian cobalt blue and clear crystal mixed with hand painted designs. The white flowers and gold gilt contrasting with the TRUE cobalt blue hand blown glass is simply eye candy. A clear glass canopy at the top accents the cobalt blue scroll decor and brass accents throughout the piece.
Measurements:
* Height: 45"
* Spread: 32"
Simply elegant and quality to the maximum. With a strong bulb, the shades give an ambiance that is quite lovely with the sparkle of the cut crystal. Not easy to find quality like this.
We took our picture with 15 watt bulbs so the camera lens would focus on the entire chandelier and shade details...not get blown out by stronger light bulbs.
This chandelier has have been completely rewired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire.
Price for the chandelier: $5,225.00 plus careful packing and Freight Shipping.

Cast iron fixture with it’s original “self colored†gray metal finish. Finish does show it’s age a bit after 90 odd years, but like an oriental carpet, very pleasing to folks who appreciate this antique look.
The design of the metal casting is so very nice as well. Please examine the center of this nice chandelier. There you will see a bakelite center design being escorted by five Mica panels on the outside of the fixture. The design is just plain NICE. There are three different amber colored elements...bakelite, mica and glass...but they do work together well.
Totally rewired with new sockets and wire to UL standards and now is ready to install. The chandelier easily installs with the center finial to a standard crossbar, and everything will be supplied.
The amber-tipped shades are a nice touch and are near perfect condition.
Measurements: The overall diameter, from shade tip to shade tip, is 18â€. Height is only 23 1/2†from the ceiling to the bottom of the finial.
$984.50 for the complete set as shown...plus $50.00 for careful packaging and Ground Shipping to addresses within the contiguous 48 states.
Residents of Alaska, Hawaii, and International Customers: additional shipping costs will be invoiced separately before shipment. Please contact us if you would like a shipping quote before purchase. We will be happy to oblige!

Unusual antique Neo-Rococo 6 light French chandelier, circa 1900. The brass is the typical French acid finish ormolu look which was so popular during the Victorian era in France.
The chandelier is a swan arm motifs.
Originally, this chandelier was made for French electrical sockets when we received it. We have rewired it to UL standards, and replaced the French sockets with common household medium base sockets. We think it came out well.
We also installed our hand-cut crystal shades which were typical of the early gas period having the scarce 2 5/8†fitter instead of the later 2 1/4†or 4â€. Normally during this period you could get chandeliers either as candle tubes or with shades.
Measurements: The chandelier height is 36â€. The spread is 27â€, including the shades.
$1,815.00 for the Neo-Rococo swan chandelier, complete with the shades shown...plus careful packaging and freight shipping.
Freight shipping will be invoiced separately. If you would like a freight quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to provide one!

We cannot emphasize strongly enough the quality of this pair of lamps. They have been copied and reproduced and cheapened into oblivion from the original outstanding quality More »
We cannot emphasize strongly enough the quality of this pair of lamps. They have been copied and reproduced and cheapened into oblivion from the original outstanding quality of the original antiques...of which...these are!!!
Standing a lovely 25†tall, with shades that reach 10†in height, all parts of these lights simply state “Qualityâ€. And the condition...marvelous!
To emphasize the quality of these lights, here are the dimensions...stage by stage: The base starts with a 6 1/8†width across the points...moves to the 2nd square piece at 4†wide; then the ball (with cut design) at 2 1/4†diameter; then to a block at 2 7/8†square and finishing with another part sectional parts also with a cut design matching the below part at 2 1/4â€.
The bobeche has a diameter of 5 3/4†and supports 10 original Victorian square cut crystals.
The shade is 10†overall, with 9 1/4†of it being visible with a nice cut pattern. This shade is of the heavy old type...not the tinney cheap stuff being made recently. Just a lovely and quality set for someone who appreciates the real quality of items rather than just a pseudo “lookâ€.
These have been totally re-wired in our UL shop. We replaced the Edwardian sockets with new medium base sockets and all new clear lead wire with an inline cord switch for each lamp, instead of the brown Rayon cord that they came in with.
Price for the pair: $715.00

A gorgeous Imperial clock (24†tall, 14†x 9â€) made in Italy (circa 1980) with an 8 day wind-up Frantz Hermle (Germany) clock movement that chimes on the More »
A gorgeous Imperial clock (24†tall, 14†x 9â€) made in Italy (circa 1980) with an 8 day wind-up Frantz Hermle (Germany) clock movement that chimes on the hour and half hour on the sweetest sounding two bells. The striking type is called “Ting-Tangâ€. There are two hammers striking on two bells, alternatively, giving a double bell sound for each strike. Very sweet indeed. It strikes ONE series of “ting-tangs†on the half hour, and a full count for each hour. Quite a nice diversion at times...and I have seen folks having a dead-serious look on their face, break into a big grin when this clock strikes. It definitely can be a mood changer.
This set is completed by a pair of lovely matching candelabras (24†tall, 11†diameter at top, 6 1/4†square base). All made by Brevattato in Italy circa 1980, using the name Imperial as a brand name. We suspect that the clock movement was restored or replaced about 1994 judging by the Frantz Hermle, two jewel, floating balance style movement.
The clock is running nicely and striking it’s lovely tones to the delight of all.
Although these look antique, they are EARLY reproductions of the Louis XVI era, with marble and antique finish brass. Having been used and moved internationally, we did give all parts of the set a good inspection. The ONLY defect we could find is a little crack at the back of one marble piece of one of the candelabra. It has been previously been restored and is not visible from the front...as this part will face the wall. To us, very minor.
Just because this set is an Italian early re-creation, it does not mean that the craftsmanship and materials are not superior. These clocks and candelabras are fine works of art. Modern Grandfather clocks can cost upwards of $15,000.00, much more than an antique one would bring, and yet they are re-creations of early designs.
All 3 pieces have ornate satyrs or cherubs with goat feet, ropes, hunting trophies on the claw foot bases and cockerel masks near the top.
The candelabras are very ornate with 7 candle holders with one at the top (where the snuffer is kept at this time), then 2 a little lower, and then 4 more on the lowest plateau. Both candelabra come with a candle snuffer installed into the top candle slot as part of the decoration.
$1,925.00 for the complete set...plus very careful packing and freight shipping, which will be invoiced separately.
If you would like a freight quote before purchase, please contact us...we would be happy to give one!

This is a striking pair of antique two-arm Tudor sconces, dating from the early 1900's and found in a home in Springfield, IL. Each sconce's circular backplate is crowned with a fleur-de-lis and features a faux-riveted diamond at its center; small volutes surround its perimeter. Fastened at the bottom of the backplate are two scrolling arms; each arm supports a simple wax pan with wavy edges. These wall lights have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctional antique turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we would gladly replace them with new ones if so desired. The sconces are 12†tall, 8-7/8†wide, and project 4-1/2†from the wall.
