Little multi blade knife. Steel implements. It has a hook, a file with also a groove with a file surface in it, a tiny corkscrew, a small pick or awl, and two blades (both are faulted). Probably was a lady's chatelaine or purse knife, as the hook is a glove hook, the corkscrew was for perfume, and the awl for sewing. The outer shell is ivory. The steel implements all need a clean up with fine wire wool. Basically in sound condition - the two little knives could be cut down to become a smaller blade on the small one, and regrind the edge of the larger blade. Very nice Imari patterned ironstone china plate. Lots of cobalt blue, indian red and gilding. Printed mark to the rear: G. L. Ashworth & Bros, Hanley. But the crest is the Royal Arms mark of Hicks & Meigh for the Regency period, early 19th century. Possibly Ashworths were the retailer? Although Ashworths made ironstone china after 1862, also adopting the name Masons Ironstone China, after Masons themselves ceased manufacturing at this time. This is a splendid pair of antique Neoclassical Ionic columns, dating from the late 1800’s and salvaged from a home in Nashville, TN. These square wooden columns feature beautiful plaster capitals, ornamented on each side with stylized foliate and volutes and painted gold. These columns are in good antique condition and have been painted white; One of the capitals is slightly detached from the column body (as pictured) which does not detract from the beauty of the piece. Each column measures 11 " square at the base, 15†square at the top, 21" wide diagonally and 55-1/2†tall.

The window features six panes of glass at the top; Below the window is a shelf accented with dentil molding. The door has various scratches, chips, and dings typical of an old door, as pictured. One side of the door has been painted a burnt orange, the other side has been painted white. The exterior door measures 35-7/8" wide, 84" tall, and 1-5/8" thick.

A wonderful pair of antique fireplace andirons, dating from the 19th Century and found in a home in Arlington, VA. Each andiron features a triangular body composed of volutes and a central foliate flourish, a stylized crown tops each one. These small andirons are made of cast iron and have a nicely aged patina with the expected wear. Each andiron measures 10-3/4†tall, 7-3/4†wide, and extends 10-1/2†from front to back.

This wall-mount mail box features a sloped roof with two hinged openings, one for the postman and one for personal use that may be paired with a separate lock. The rounded rectangular body features an unusual cut-out at its bottom and a fabulously aged chippy white finish. This mail box is in very good antique condition with the expected wear. This is a fabulous antique Tudor mailbox, cast iron and dating from the 1930’s. This wall-mount mail box features a rectangular front and a wonderful hammered finish and is ornamented with a pierced nine-pane design. A nicely shaped metal flap at the top lifts for mail to be inserted; a larger door for retrieving mail has a loop for use with a lock. This mail box is in very good antique condition. It measures 13-3/4" tall, 6-1/2†wide, and has a 2-1/2†projection overall.
