For Sale is a lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios of New York, New York. The Item is a "Gold Favrile Stemmed Cordial" and it is done in the very desirable wheel cut "Grapes + Leaves" pattern. The Cordial Stands 4 1/2" tall and the Cup is 1 1/2" in diameter. The bottom foot has a diameter of 1 11/16".
The Cordial displays a wonderful and Delicate wheel cut pattern of "Grapes and Leaves". The detail is just unbelievable as you can actually see veining in the leaves. The Cordial has a very nice Gold Favrile Aurene Iridescence with hues of Gold and Platinum Blues with some Purples. The Cordial sits on a Round Foot that gracefully rises up to the very slender stem. The Stem is very thin and rises to small Bell Shaped Drinking Vessel. The Foot and the top of the Cordial have a wonderfully Rolled and Fire Polished edge. This piece of Art Glass is so delicate that it is amazing that it has survived over 100 years without damage.
The Stemmed Cordial is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The Piece is signed on the bottom with the Etched "L.C.T. Favrile" Cipher mark for "Louis Comfort Tiffany" and there is also the numbers "1631" lightly etched. This is either the Model Number in Tiffany's Catalog or a Special order number. These Cordials are rather Hard to find with no damage as they are very delicate. This one is about as good as they get. I'm sure the buyer will be delighted with their Purchase.
This Stemmed Cordial was made Circa 1900-1920. « Less

For sale is an original piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The item is called a "Cordial" but some collectors this a Toothpick Holder, Thumbprint or Dimpled Vase. The piece stands 1 13/16" tall and is 1 5/8" wide. The inside opening is 1 1/4" wide.
The Cordial has brilliant iridescence with strong hues of Platinum Blues, and some Fuchsia. It is similar to Steuben's Gold Aurene in color. The piece is accented with four indented dimples and has a small slightly flared lip. The cordial has a platinum appearance as the iridescence is that wonderful. This Cordial could be used as a Cabinet Vase. The correct application is, "in a decanter set", as Louis Comfort Tiffany designed these to be used for that purpose.
The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no chips, nicks or cracks. The Cordial has a counter sunk polished pontil. The sign of quality art Glass. The piece is properly signed counter clockwise "L.C.T." along the outer bottom edge just below the counter sunk pontil. There is also the number 105 lightly etched to the left of L.C.T. I believe this to be the shape number for this style cordial. This is an early piece of L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile and was made Circa 1902-1910.
Purchase with confidence as this will make a wonderful addition to any Art Glass collection or serve as the missing Cordial in a Decanter Set or simply can be used as a beautiful Cabinet Vase. « Less

For Sale is a very lovely Gold Iridescent Salt made by Tiffany Studios, New York. These Gold Favrile Salts are some of the hardest to find without damage. We collectors call this salt a "Witches Cauldron" shape. The Table Pattern that these Salts belong to in the Tiffany Favrile catalog was known as the "Gypsy" Pattern. The Salt stands 1 3/8" tall and is 2 1/4" in diameter.
This Salts display a ribbed Witches Cauldron shape with applied feet. The ribbing is graceful and the salt has a brilliant Gold Iridescence Finish with strong hues of Fuchsia and Platinum Blues. The Gold iridescence looking into the salt is just outstanding!! The top lip has a ruffled border which displays a nice Platinum Blue Color against a gold iridescence background. The Salt is supported by 4 legs that sits level on the surface of a shelf.
This Salt is considered to be in excellent original condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The side of legs don't even have a flea nick and are all nicely polished on the bottom. The only issue is a few scratches on the underside of the Cauldron shape between the legs. This cannot be seen when displayed and this is pictured. My camera is 15X and the scratches on the bottom looks much larger than they actually are.
The Gold Favrile, Aurene is simply Beautiful!! The bottom displays a countersunk polished pontil. The sign of a quality piece of Art Glass. The Salt is signed on the bottom with the etched "L.C.T." signature mark for "Louis Comfort Tiffany" and as a added bonus still retains its original paper label. Those of you who collect salts and want an nice example in original aged condition need to look no further. This salt was made circa 1900-1920. « Less

For Sale is a bronze table lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This Style is called a "Large Stick" Bronze Lamp Base and it is done in Tiffany's Studios most sought after More »
For Sale is a bronze table lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This Style is called a "Large Stick" Bronze Lamp Base and it is done in Tiffany's Studios most sought after Naturally aged Acid Etched Dore' (Gold) Patina. This base has a telescoping riser to raise and lower a Fabric or Linenfold shade. I am also offering a Replica riser if you want to use it for a Tiffany Leaded Glass Shade. This Bronze Lamp Base is very large as it stands 29" tall to the top of the finial when riser is full depressed and 31 1/2" when fully extended. The foot has a diameter of 11 1/2".
This Bronze Table lamp displays wonderful and rich dark acid etched Patina. This is one of the most desirable finishes in the Tiffany Patina's. It has nice small snow flakes etched into the metal. The base displays a very nice arts and crafts style of simplicity. It has a slender column with an irregular bottom foot. It is a 2 part casting that sits on 4 feet molded into the bottom platform. The base has 4 lighting sockets that have pull chains. The interiors appear to be all original with the sockets having 2 satellite round pulls and the other 2 having round pulls. It my belief the round pulls were changed at a later date but they are from the same period. Tiffany bought these interior parts and did not make them. Each socket is signed with "Bryant 250 V Pat'd Nov 26 1907 Made in the USA". The finial and riser are original to the base as the riser has the same acid etched patina as the rest of the base has.
This Large Stick Base is considered to be in excellent condition. There are no cracks, nicks or dings to the base or shade. There is a few light round spots in the base and these are pictured. They are not obtrusive as you can see. The base is signed on the underside base plate with the "Tiffany Studios New York" impressed mark above the lamp cord hole with the model number "531" impressed just under the hole. There are also the numbers "12960" lightly scratched to the left side of the hole and more than likely was a special order number. The base has been rewired with gold rayon antique style lamp cord and it still retains its original antique plug. The plug has a small piece out of it and this is pictured as well.
I have shown this shade pictured with a Tiffany Replica 20" Waterlily shade. This is representation only on how you can adapt a leaded glass shade to fit this base. The Auction is for the BASE ONLY. Should the winner bidder request the replica riser needed to adapt the base to accommodate a leaded shade I will include it free of charge. The shade is for sold separately should you want both. This base will accommodate leaded glass shades that are 20-22 inches in diameter. I can change the riser side to make the shade fit appropriately.
This is a quality Original Tiffany Studios Large Bronze Stick Base. The Base is Guaranteed Original and is very early based on the socket markings. I would say this Tiffany Studios lamp base was made, Circa 1907-1909. « Less

For Sale is a lovely Arts and Crafts purse manufactured by The J.E. Mergott Company of New York and was more commonly known as Jemco. Jemco was know for their quality purse More »
For Sale is a lovely Arts and Crafts purse manufactured by The J.E. Mergott Company of New York and was more commonly known as Jemco. Jemco was know for their quality purse frames from the early to mid 1900's. The purse measures 6" in height excluding the handle. The purse measures 6 1/4" in diameter and has an overall height of approximately 11 1/4" including the handle.
The purse is made of brown leather that is stitched together with a black toned leather string. The front side of the purse has a floral tooled design adorning an Arts and Craft panel motif. There is also a hammered pattern tooled in the leather in between the two decorative opposing panels. It is accented by a decorative loop hanging from the frame that gracefully hangs over this area. The back side of the purse is plain. It has a silver toned frame with a ball shaped snapping closure for closing the bag securely. There is a 1/2" wide strap that is attached securely. The purse opens to one main section that is lined with a soft green suede that has a sleeve on each side.
The purse is considered to be in very good to excellent condition as there are no tears or broken stitches on the purse. The frame also closes in an even fashion. There is some minor wear on the leather stitching and some wear on the interior suede as this purse was gently used. The purse or handbag is signed on the metal frame with the typical "JEMCO" in a diamond trademark.
The purse was made Circa 1930's. « Less

For Sale is a lovely vintage Lucite bag made by Rialto of New York. The box portion of the bag measures 3 7/8" tall to the top of the lid and approximately 8 3/4" tall More »
For Sale is a lovely vintage Lucite bag made by Rialto of New York. The box portion of the bag measures 3 7/8" tall to the top of the lid and approximately 8 3/4" tall overall height with handles included. The purse measures 8 5/8" long at the bottom of the purse and 7 1/2" long at the opening. It measures approximately 4" deep at the bulge and 3" deep at the opening.
The purse is constructed of a pearl white body that has a modern look with sharp angles at the ends. The lid is clear and has a carved stylized flower lid that has been carved on both the exterior and interior of the lid. There is a smaller vine of leaves that was carved and then frosted on the interior only in order to make the hinge mechanism disappear through the clear lid when it is closed. There are two brass or gold toned balls on the interior of the lid which secures it closed. There are two gracefully curved handles to hold the bag in comfort and there are four gold toned feet applied on the bottom to keep from scratching the bottom.
The purse is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no cracks in the Lucite and the hinge, snap closures and brass pins for the handles are all very secure and show that this was a cared for accessory by some lucky lady back in the day. There is one very small area on the exterior lid that has a few surface scratches but it is not noticeable unless you are really inspecting this and only in a certain light. The brass hinge has a signature that reads "ORIGINAL Rialto N.Y." Rialto of New York was one of the leading designer and manufacturers of Lucite purses back in the 1950's and this little gem is quite the fashion statement. It would make a perfect handbag for a bride or even just a stylish accessory for casual wear.
The purse was made Circa 1951-1960. « Less
