For Sale is a nice piece of art pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Dahlrose" and the shape is a Double Handled Bulbous More »
For Sale is a nice piece of art pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is called "Dahlrose" and the shape is a Double Handled Bulbous Vase. The Vase has some size to it as it stands 6 1/8" tall and is 8" in diameter at its widest point which is the shoulder.
The Vase depicts a classic shape shape with a raised and flared lip accented with buttress style handles connecting the top lip to the upper body of the vessel on each side. The Vase has ivory cream colored flowers on a rough textured brown background that resembles the ground. These Flowers kind of look like Daises but Roseville decided to call this pattern "Dahlrose" These flowers flow gracefully around the upper portion of the vase. They are connected by sage green stem and leaves. This form is very desirable and shows minimal signs of previous use.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. There is a small area along the bottom edge that is a glaze miss. The piece is not signed as these usually had a black or silver foil label or the shape number was written in a Red Grease pencil. This is a well documented pattern in the Roseville catalog pages and was known as shape number 364-6" in the Roseville Dahlrose pattern line.
This is a wonderful quality Roseville Vase that is in excellent condition. I'm quite sure the buyer will be very pleased with their purchase. This vase was made during Roseville's middle period Circa mid 1920's. « Less

For Sale is a wonderful Art Glass and Bronze Vase made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Item is the highly collected and very desirable "Bud Vase". This Bud Vase is done in Tiffany's highly sought after Green Feather Pull Style of Art Glass with a Patinated Bronze Holder. The Vase has some size as it stands 12 3/8" tall. The Top or Flower part of the Vase is 1 5/8" in diameter outside measurement. The Bronze foot has a diameter of 3 3/4".
The glass insert on this bud vase has a cylindrical tapered shaped with a flared top opening to receive flowers. It is decorated with a Green Feather Pull Decor against a brilliant gold favrile iridescence background glass. It has a trumpet shaped flower top. This glass insert fits into a bronze holder that has a round foot. This holder has a ribbed pattern and the part the holds the inserts resembles a gourd. The Patina is wonderful and displays a rich green brown organic color.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as the glass has no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The area where the glass fits into the bottom appears to have a slight indent at the top lip. It could have been made this way or it happen after manufacture as I am not sure. The piece normal age wear on the bottom and it is my belief that this vase was well taken care by previous owner. There is minor calcium deposits on the inside lower bottom and is common for these vases as they were used. This is minor and considered insignificant.
The Glass portion of the Vase is signed on the bottom with Tiffany's Etched Signature that reads "L.C.T." The bottom bronze holder is also signed with the impressed mark "Tiffany Stvdios New York" along with its shape number "710". There are also numbers lightly scratched into the metal and they read "2997" with a line through it. This is just above the impressed mark. There are also the numbers "3083" just under the impressed shape number. More than likely this was the order number as I feel the scratch number was not the number they used.
This is one of the Nicest Tiffany Bronze and Art Glass Bud Vases I have had the pleasure of owning. It still retains its original 3 finger holder that fits inside the bronze bottom. When found this part is usually missing. This was Tiffany's way of securely holding the glass insert and you could adjust it so the glass portion will sit evenly. Also, the use of the letter "v" in Tiffany Studios denotes this as an early piece. It is to my belief that this piece was made early, Circa 1898-1905. « Less

For Sale is a lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios of New York, New York. The Item is a "Stemmed Sherbet" and it is done in the very desirable Pastel Green Opalescent color. The Stemmed Sherbet stands 3 5/8" tall and the Cup is 4 3/8" in diameter. The bottom foot has a diameter of 2 9/16".
The Sherbet display a very pleasing pastel green with Onion Skin stretched border edges. It has 10 opalescent Fingers running vertically from the bottom to the top. The Stem is applied much like the Tiffany Floriform Vase's stems were. The Bottom has a Clams Broth color and texture.
The Sherbet is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The only issue is in the making as there are a few inclusions or carbon spots on the inside glass. This was made this way and not damage. It is also quite common with the Pastel Line of Art Glass from Tiffany. The Sherbet displays a counter sunk Polished Pontil. This is the sign of Quality piece of Art Glass. This Sherbet is signed along the outer edge of the Polished Pontil "1281 L.C.T. Favrile" counter clockwise.
This is a wonderful addition to any Tiffany Pastel Art Glass Collection. You commonly see the Stemmed Wine Goblets. You almost never see the Stemmed Sherbets. This piece was made circa 1917-1925. I'm sure the buyer will be delighted with their purchase. « Less

For Sale is an Original Tiffany Favrile Salt made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The piece measures 1" tall and is 2 1/2" in diameter outside handles measurements. The foot or the bottom of the salt is 1 1/2" to the base of each handle.
The Salt displays a wonderful Squat Shade with 2 applied handles on each side. These handles somewhat resemble ears are look adorable with the piece. These salts have also been labeled "Mini Handled Squat Cabinet Vases" or "The Bean Pot" cabinet miniature". The Gold Favrile, Aurene Luster or Iridescence on the outside of the salt is just outstanding!!! You can see very Beautiful strong Hues of Fuchsia and Platinum Blues as well as brilliant Gold's. The Platinum to Fuchsia Iridescence on the inside bottom is like a rainbow of colors. There is a definite difference between Tiffany Favrile Salts. Some are weak in the iridescence and some are not. This salt is about average.
This Tiffany Salt is in excellent Condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is some scratches on the bottom polished side and is typical of normal age wear from use. It appears to have been taken care of through the years. The Salt is signed with the etched "L.C.T." along the bottom edge of the countersunk polished pontil in a counter clockwise fashion. The polished pontil is the sign of a Quality piece of art glass.
I would say this is the Rarest of all the Salts. It is by far the hardest to find with no damage because of its tiny ear shaped handles. This was known in the Tiffany Favrile Catalog of Table pieces as a "Handled" Salt. If you are looking for a Salt to add to your collection that is considered to be an excellent example, look no Further!! Do not let this one slip by you! This Salt was made circa 1900-1920. « Less

The Bowl displays a Strong Gold Iridescent finish. The Bowl looks metallic but it is glass. You can see vivid hues of Fuchsia and Platinum Blues. The Bowl has a very nice shape as it is round and comes in and then flares out at the top lip. It is further Decorated with raised Pigtail prunts in two rows along the exterior bottom. For Sale is a very lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Item is the highly collected and very desirable "Floriform" or "Trumpet" form Flower More »
For Sale is a very lovely piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The Item is the highly collected and very desirable "Floriform" or "Trumpet" form Flower Vase". This Vase is done in Tiffany's highly sought after Gold Favrile Style of Art Glass. The Vase would be considered a nice Cabinet Size as it stands 6 3/4" tall. The Top or Flower part of the Vase is 2 13/16" or roughly 3" in diameter outside measurement.
The Floriform has a Trumpet Shaped Flower at the top with Vertical Ribbing that rises up from a Stem off of a circular foot. The Gold Floriform Favrile, Aurene Iridescence is just outstanding!! You can see very strong Fuchsia's along the bottom foot accented with Platinum Blues on gold all over the rest of the Vase both inside and out. There is one part of the foot that really shows off this Fuchsia Color and it is simply, "Gorgeous".
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece shows minimal wear and it is my belief that it sat in a Cabinet most of its life. Many of these Vases have Mineral Deposits on the inside. I am happy to report that this one has minimal. There are a few minor scratches on the bottom. The Vase is signed on the bottom with Tiffany's Etched Signature that reads, "476P 1831 L.C. Tiffany-Favrile" written in script. I believe the 1831 number is the model number in the Tiffany Favrile Catalogs. The Suffix Letter "P" means this vase was made in 1921.
This is one of the Nicest Gold Cabinet Floriforms I have had the pleasure of owning. I will honestly say that this Floriform Vase in this size is one the Finest I have ever owned. The Vase is so light and delicate it is simply amazing that it has survived 91 years in this condition. It is almost as good as the day it was made. I'm sure the buyer will cherish this wonderful piece of Art Glass in their Collection for many years. « Less

For sale is an original piece of Art Glass made by Tiffany Studios, New York. The item is called a "Cordial" but some collectors this a Toothpick Holder, Thumbprint or Dimpled Vase. The piece stands 1 13/16" tall and is 1 5/8" wide. The inside opening is 1 1/4" wide.
The Cordial has brilliant iridescence with strong hues of Platinum Blues, and some Fuchsia. It is similar to Steuben's Gold Aurene in color. The piece is accented with four indented dimples and has a small slightly flared lip. The cordial has a platinum appearance as the iridescence is that wonderful. This Cordial could be used as a Cabinet Vase. The correct application is, "in a decanter set", as Louis Comfort Tiffany designed these to be used for that purpose.
The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no chips, nicks or cracks. The Cordial has a counter sunk polished pontil. The sign of quality art Glass. The piece is properly signed counter clockwise "L.C.T." along the outer bottom edge just below the counter sunk pontil. There is also the number 105 lightly etched to the left of L.C.T. I believe this to be the shape number for this style cordial. This is an early piece of L.C.T. Tiffany Favrile and was made Circa 1902-1910.
Purchase with confidence as this will make a wonderful addition to any Art Glass collection or serve as the missing Cordial in a Decanter Set or simply can be used as a beautiful Cabinet Vase. « Less

For Sale is a very lovely Gold Iridescent Salt made by Tiffany Studios, New York. These Gold Favrile Salts are some of the hardest to find without damage. We collectors call this salt a "Witches Cauldron" shape. The Table Pattern that these Salts belong to in the Tiffany Favrile catalog was known as the "Gypsy" Pattern. The Salt stands 1 3/8" tall and is 2 1/4" in diameter.
This Salts display a ribbed Witches Cauldron shape with applied feet. The ribbing is graceful and the salt has a brilliant Gold Iridescence Finish with strong hues of Fuchsia and Platinum Blues. The Gold iridescence looking into the salt is just outstanding!! The top lip has a ruffled border which displays a nice Platinum Blue Color against a gold iridescence background. The Salt is supported by 4 legs that sits level on the surface of a shelf.
This Salt is considered to be in excellent original condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The side of legs don't even have a flea nick and are all nicely polished on the bottom. The only issue is a few scratches on the underside of the Cauldron shape between the legs. This cannot be seen when displayed and this is pictured. My camera is 15X and the scratches on the bottom looks much larger than they actually are.
The Gold Favrile, Aurene is simply Beautiful!! The bottom displays a countersunk polished pontil. The sign of a quality piece of Art Glass. The Salt is signed on the bottom with the etched "L.C.T." signature mark for "Louis Comfort Tiffany" and as a added bonus still retains its original paper label. Those of you who collect salts and want an nice example in original aged condition need to look no further. This salt was made circa 1900-1920. « Less

For Sale is a bronze table lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This Style is called a "Large Stick" Bronze Lamp Base and it is done in Tiffany's Studios most sought after More »
For Sale is a bronze table lamp made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This Style is called a "Large Stick" Bronze Lamp Base and it is done in Tiffany's Studios most sought after Naturally aged Acid Etched Dore' (Gold) Patina. This base has a telescoping riser to raise and lower a Fabric or Linenfold shade. I am also offering a Replica riser if you want to use it for a Tiffany Leaded Glass Shade. This Bronze Lamp Base is very large as it stands 29" tall to the top of the finial when riser is full depressed and 31 1/2" when fully extended. The foot has a diameter of 11 1/2".
This Bronze Table lamp displays wonderful and rich dark acid etched Patina. This is one of the most desirable finishes in the Tiffany Patina's. It has nice small snow flakes etched into the metal. The base displays a very nice arts and crafts style of simplicity. It has a slender column with an irregular bottom foot. It is a 2 part casting that sits on 4 feet molded into the bottom platform. The base has 4 lighting sockets that have pull chains. The interiors appear to be all original with the sockets having 2 satellite round pulls and the other 2 having round pulls. It my belief the round pulls were changed at a later date but they are from the same period. Tiffany bought these interior parts and did not make them. Each socket is signed with "Bryant 250 V Pat'd Nov 26 1907 Made in the USA". The finial and riser are original to the base as the riser has the same acid etched patina as the rest of the base has.
This Large Stick Base is considered to be in excellent condition. There are no cracks, nicks or dings to the base or shade. There is a few light round spots in the base and these are pictured. They are not obtrusive as you can see. The base is signed on the underside base plate with the "Tiffany Studios New York" impressed mark above the lamp cord hole with the model number "531" impressed just under the hole. There are also the numbers "12960" lightly scratched to the left side of the hole and more than likely was a special order number. The base has been rewired with gold rayon antique style lamp cord and it still retains its original antique plug. The plug has a small piece out of it and this is pictured as well.
I have shown this shade pictured with a Tiffany Replica 20" Waterlily shade. This is representation only on how you can adapt a leaded glass shade to fit this base. The Auction is for the BASE ONLY. Should the winner bidder request the replica riser needed to adapt the base to accommodate a leaded shade I will include it free of charge. The shade is for sold separately should you want both. This base will accommodate leaded glass shades that are 20-22 inches in diameter. I can change the riser side to make the shade fit appropriately.
This is a quality Original Tiffany Studios Large Bronze Stick Base. The Base is Guaranteed Original and is very early based on the socket markings. I would say this Tiffany Studios lamp base was made, Circa 1907-1909. « Less
