This wonderful and uncommon copper-bronze finished chandelier has a very striking presentation. It is lovely and very '30s. This five light chandelier has been re-wired with new sockets, each capable of a 100 watt standard incandescent bulb. It was made during the 1930’s, and it has all matching amber shades with clear floral panels. The shades are in excellent condition without chips or cracks...only minor roughness where they go in and out of the fitter...but not seen when mounted and very minor in any case. And...they all match. Many Art Deco lighting dealers are charging $250 to $300 EACH for these shades. If you wish to consider value, just do the multiple of five...compare to our price for the entire re-wired chandelier and find true reasonability. Measurements: 23 inches in overall height, with a diameter of 14 1/2” inches from shade tip to shade tip. This chandelier has been completely re-wired in our UL shop with new sockets and all new wire. It is completely tested and ready to hang...just add bulbs. We will also include a new mounting kit to make sure that you can hang this lovely accent as soon as it is received. Made by Globe Mnf in the 1930s, these wall sconces are in very nice condition. The cast iron frames are au naturel. The slip-in shades are finished in a nice amber, with traces of darker amber in the recessed lines. Very attractive in contrast with the iron backplates. Measuring 8 1/2" tall, with a width of 6 1/2", they project into a room 6 1/2” from the wall. These sconces have been completely rewired with new sockets and all new wire. We have also replaced the switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and still made up to ONE year ago. So these switches, by Leviton, are becoming even more antique as we note this. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. $676.00 for the complete pair...plus $25.00 for packaging and Ground shipping within the contiguous 48 states, with insurance included. An astounding bronze thirteen-light chandelier, dating from the early 1900’s, with original spherical glass shades. The fixture begins with a simple bronze canopy, coming down in a chain to a large globe finial. Below, a decorative crown sits atop a bronze disc; from it projects twelve smooth chandelier arms. Each cascading arm supports a simple shade holder with a white glass globe. A band of intricate pierced work runs between the chandelier arms, featuring quatrefoil and foliate details. The body extends down in a thick pole to its 13th glass shade. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rims. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Original antique sconces, with original antique art glass shades. These sconces have a lovely Edwardian brass look, with a great design that is so typical of the Edwardian style. The original antique shades are also so very nice. They are an ivory color, with clear applied art glass touches to each side. The height of the shades, as well as the design of the art glass, complements the shapes found in the metal backplate. A nice combination indeed. The backplates were stamped out of solid brass, and have a hi/lo finish. Ready to go...nothing needs to be done except add the light bulbs of your choice. These sconces have been completely re-wired with new sockets and all new wire. Measurements: overall sconce height is 11”. The maximum width (shade) is 4 1/2”. It will project into the room from the wall at 5 1/2”. Magnificent antique eight arm silver-plated chandelier, c.1910 and found in a home in Chicago. This chandelier begins with an understated canopy, working down in chain to a loop finial composed of volutes. Below, the baluster-shaped upper body features beautiful detailing in the form of scrolling foliates. Eight substantial scrolling arms extend from the bottom of the base and support chamfered wax pans. The silverplated fixture finishes in a bowl-shaped base with a domed finial. The light has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures approximately 24-3/4" wide, 19" tall, and 33-1/4" long overall. Lovely circa 1936 Streamline chandelier. Original antique chandelier, with original antique shades. Note how the shade fitters sweep up and hold the tapered shades so nicely. The rim of the fitter has been nicely reticulated, with design, to make the shade seem to mold right into the fixture. A very nice touch indeed. The frame is a contrast between black and nickel plating, as shown in the pictures. The frame is showing its age, like a good Persian carpet, but in no way can it be considered in bad condition. It simply is mellowed out after all these years. Nickel plating is more mellow than hard chrome, and gives a more aged ambiance to the fixture. The shades are custard glass with a simple pattern, and match the round areas of the frame quite well. They are in excellent condition. This chandelier has been completely re-wired, with new sockets and all new wire, in our UL shop. Measurements: The overall height is 22”. The overall diameter is 20 1/2”, measured from the outside edge of one shade, to the outside edge of the shade opposite. $935.00 for this neat chandelier, plus $50.00 for careful packaging and shipping within the contiguous 48 states.
