A wonderful antique American stained glass window, dating from the early 1900s. The window features a stylized flower with amber hued granite glass composing the blossom and stem and green granite glass leaves. The flower is surrounded by a background of amber slag glass with a beautiful mint green slag glass border. There are no cracks or breaks to the glass. The frame has an aged painted finish and the usual wear to the glazing as shown. The window measures 17-5/8” by 22-5/8” tall, with a frame 1-3/8" thick, and the glass measures 14” by 18”. Antique American Arts and Crafts stained glass window, dating from the early 1900s. The window features an understated design on a clear granite glass background accented with geometric leaded lines. The multicolored pattern is composed of beige and green slag glass squares with a slender pane of dark amber below. Squares of swirling teal slag accent each corner of the pane. There are no cracks or breaks to the glass and the frame has an aged finish with the usual wear and chips as shown. The window measures 23- 6/8" wide by 24- 1/2" tall, with a frame 1-3/8" thick, and the glass measures 19- 1/2" wide by 20" tall. NSG72-RW   « Less

Delightful antique boxed newel post with a pointed dome finial, dating from the early 1900s. This box newel features a simple body with beveled trim, with fleur-de-lis embellishing the upper section. The middle body features recessed panels with ribbon and bellflower details. The newel has been painted brown and is in good antique condition with some chips and wear as shown. Good sized vintage powder bowl, probably circa 1930s plus. Lidded, clear heavy crystal with overlaid yellow and applied black decoration. The border of silhouettes depict a fair, with Punch & Judy show, balloons etc. Measures 13 cm high and 11.5 cm diameter (5 inches by 4.1/4 inches). Condition: one little nick to inside rim, some wear to edge band around lid. Further shallow chips in underneath lid rim. There is a bump/ridge on the actual lid finial, which is in the manufacture - possibly a pontil mark. Underneath the base has scratches commensurate with age and use. Interesting vintage item.   « Less

Unusual sterling silver and New Zealand jade (called greenstone or pounamu in NZ) necklace, with its own custom-made velvet pouch with sterling silver handmade button. The necklace is reversible, with a sort of star-fish or web design on one side and the plain jade stone on the other. The silver necklace is articulated, and unusually, the stone attaches at the front. You could also possibly wear the silver collar alone, joining it at the back. Pendant measures 40 mm by 30 mm and is wedge shaped, so sits well. It is a substantial piece of jade pounamu. Necklace is assay marked 925 (sterling quality), and signed "Millett". (Would be by either Louisa or Dan Millett, both New Zealand jewellery designers/makers, working in NZ jade). The pouch is purple velvet edged in green, with a hammered silver button.   « Less
