A true high-end quality, original, cast iron, antique frame with a lovely reddish bronzed finish. Circa 1935. This Art Deco slip shade chandelier was top-of-the-line for this series of Art Deco lighting using this type of shade. The reddish-bronzed finish is simply superb. This fixture is in oh-so-near-mint condition. The shades are simply in fantastic condition. Measuring 27 1/2" tall, with a diameter of about 21 1/2" from shade tip to shade tip, this is truly a magnificent offering. The decor of this chandelier is simply stunning. If you have been holding back for that truly outstanding chandelier of this type, we believe that this might be it. To make it better, please note that this antique fixture has been completely re-wired with all new sockets, new wire, and is ready to hang. Unique is the fact that this chandelier has a three way switch. Since the center has a socket, it can be lighted separately to use as a low level ambiance or as a night light. Then a rotary turn to the next position lights up 2 of the outside shades while the third turn lights everything. Note also that the center glass has a beveled top edge that picks up the light nicely. Each of the outside shades is capable of accepting a 100 watt bulb...or...purchase our optional 60-WW-E26 LED Art Deco looking bulb. It consumes only 7 watts while putting out about 75 watts of incandescent equivalent lighting. LED bulbs makes running a chandelier all night long, perhaps as a strong nite lite, very economical indeed. These are two antique industrial silver mercury glass pendants, circa 1920's. Each pendant begins with an understated canopy and descends with a twisted cord to a simple fitter. The large pendant shades feature silvered "mercury" glass in a hammered texture atop an exposed bulb. Mercury glass is a term used to describe glass that is blown with double walls and then silvered in the middle with a coating, typically silver-nitrate, to produce a mirror-like finish. Mercury glass was originally produced from the 1840's to around the 1930's. There are two fixtures available and they are both in very good condition, with the exception of a small crack on the underside of one shade as pictured. The pendants measure 11-1/4" wide, 3-1/2" tall, and are 36-1/4" in overall length. NC1504-RW   « Less

A wonderful antique six-light brass chandelier with its original glass, dating from the early 1900’s. The chandelier begins with an understated canopy with inverted palmette detail and tapers to a rod attaching to a single chain. Four chains descend from a rosette cluster and attach to the inside of an octagonal band around the body of the chandelier. Four lanterns hang from the body of the chandelier, each featuring a cut-out brass shade with original slag glass. The base of the chandelier features honey-colored slag glass within brass foliate detail. The light fixture is in very good antique condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabite around the edges. The chandelier body measures 17-3/4" wide, 33-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 45-1/2" long overall. NC1505-RW   « Less

Antique Embossed Floral Shade Ceiling Bowl Light Fixture Nice embossed shade ceiling light with two sockets. Perfect for a smaller room, or in a dining room over a table. The opal glass shade is simply gorgeous with embossed floral décor. Very nicely done, as the pictures will show. Probably a product of Consolidated glass or one of the other up-scale US manufacturers. The fixture is brass, and has a lovely antique patina. Measurements: * Height: 11" * Diameter: 12", the shade's overall diameter. The shade is lit by two standard sockets, each capable of accepting a 100 watt light bulb, giving a nice 200 watts of total light. We did not power it up for pictures, as too strong of bulb blows out the focus of our camera lens. We always use small 25 watt or lower bulbs in our pictures so the detail of the light fixture itself is revealed. This wonderful light has been rewired in our UL approved lamp shop to UL standards. A splendid antique five-tiered chandelier in its original silver plate, dating from approximately 1910. This three-light “wedding cake” chandelier begins with an understated canopy that comes down to a chain which connects to an unusual spear shaped finial. The finial sits atop of a small upper tier with a band of beaded detailing around its base and prisms that hang from a slightly curled cutout foliate border at it top. The silver plated chandelier body is crowned with a beaded band followed by a cutout border of modified trefoils. Below, the chandelier has five tiers of original sparkling “icicle” prisms, and is finished with a faceted crystal ball. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The lantern features a simple rectangular, four-panel design with granite glass, open at the bottom. Originally the lantern had a hatch door on the bottom for changing the light bulb, however that has been removed. Original antique sconces with the original antique brass finish. The shades are really quite lovely. They are beautiful Bohemian cobalt blue overlay crystal with a hand cut design. Simply elegant, and quality to the maximum. With a strong bulb, they give an ambiance that is quite lovely with the sparkle of the cut crystal. Add to the shades the nice crystal drops, and we have a simply lovely and elegant pair of sconces. Not easy to find quality like this. We took our picture with a mere 15 watt bulb so the camera lens would focus on the entire sconce and shade detail...not get blown out by too strong of bulb. These sconces have been completely re-wired in our UL shop with all new sockets and new wire. We have also replaced the rotary switches, made by Leviton in the 20’s...and were still made up to ONE year ago. So these switches by Leviton are becoming even more antique as we note this. Measurements: The overall sconce height is 12 1/2”. The maximum width (including the shade) is 5”. It will project into the room from the wall 7”. Backplate Measurements: 10 3/8” tall by 4 1/2” wide.
