18 ct yellow gold ring with a row of diamonds. Hallmarked for Birmingham, England. 750. Head of ring measures 5.1 mm wide, with tapered grain set head. Ring size is English L (USA size 5.1/2) with an internal diameter of 16.4 mm. Seven grain-set diamonds, round brilliant cut tapering slightly in size from centre stone. Total of .39 carats of diamonds. (One photo shows the diamond carat mark hallmark). Quality assessed as Good-Fair make, G-I colour, and I1-I12 clarity. We have a retail sale valuation for this ring, and are offering it for considerably less (an indemnity valuation would be for even more than a sale valuation). Valuation is available on request, and will be included in the sale of the ring. Condition is excellent, usual slight scuffing commensurate with having been worn at rear of finger - can be buffed up is necessary. Very attractive ring, suitable for stacking or solo wear. The band has been resized at some stage (and could be again if this is not your size). Ring size is English K+ (USA size just under 5.1/2) with an internal diameter of 15.95 mm. A beautiful antique three-light inverted dome chandelier with a brass canopy and a beautiful opaline shade. Circa 1910, this Neoclassical chandelier was found in Chicago. The chandelier features a gadrooned canopy, which comes down to a brass piece with three hooks, ornamented with a leaf pattern. A chain extends from each hook to the opaline shade. Each is fastened to the shade with a brass handle ornamented with volutes and acanthus detail. The shade is gadrooned with acanthus leaves at the bottom, and bordered with volutes, flowers, and a bead-and-reel pattern along the edge. This light fixture is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the edge. It has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The shade is 16” in diameter and approx. 6” tall, and the fixture is approx. 33” long overall. A fantastic antique six-light Art Deco chandelier, dating from the 1930’s, in its original darkened nickel finish over bronze. Found in Louisville, KY, the chandelier begins with an Art Deco canopy ornamented with a bold zigzag design, coming down in a chain to an angular loop finial. Five white glass panels surround a light in the center of the chandelier. The five chandelier arms extend between the panels, ornamented with flowers, scrolls, and geometric designs. The bottom of the chandelier features a stepped design finishing a finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandelier body measures 19” wide and 19-1/2” tall, and the fixture is 38” long overall. NC1404-RW   « Less

Copper mounted on a block of wood, I think this is a letterpress negative. The image appears to be (in negative) a woman dressed in an elaborate hat, with what are possibly flowers mounted on it. She wears a boa - either a feather or fur stole. Her dress appears to be Victorian or Edwardian - hard to tell. Block measures 15.5 cm by 5 cm by 1 cm and 2.3 cm thick (6.1/8 inches by 2 inches by about 1 inch). A few scratches on the bottom part of image, needs a good clean. Interesting subject.   « Less
