Stylish shoulder bag, made in woven cane bound with tan pigskin leather. Oval box shape, opening lid with magnetic clasp. Leather shoulder strap. Inside is lined with brown fabric, with small pocket. There is a label saying: Bamboo matting made in China. The lid doesn't open very far. Bag measures 24.5 cm by 18cm and 10.5 cm thick (about 9.3/4 inches by just over 7 inches by 4.1/4 inches thick). Art Deco Clarice Cliff Newport Pottery fruit bowl. Octagonal shape with shaped sides and a pattern of embossed fruit and flowers with bluebirds. Don't know what this pattern is - possible a variation of My Garden, or Celtic Harvest? The mould number is (I think - its blurry) 314, dating it around 1928+. Bowl measures approx. 22 cm wide and 9 cm high (8.3/4 inches wide and about 3.1/2 inches high). Body colour is a matt, slightly mottled, silver/beige grey. Excellent condition body, with a few minor stains - one in the inside, and two under the pattern on the lower part of the body (hidden from view).   « Less

A gorgeous antique Neoclassical five-light chandelier with prisms, in brass with silver plated accents. This early 1900s pan light fixture begins with an elegant acanthus leaf loop finial. A leafy silver crown tops the disc-shaped body; below, five silver plated foliate arms extend out to support bobeches with beaded trim. Sparkling icicle prisms hang from each chandelier arm and the fixture finishes in a draped finial with acanthus accents. This two-tone chandelier is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. Appealing teddy bear, made by English company Merrythought for Harrods. Jointed arms, legs and head. He measures about 37 cm long (14.1/2 inches), and apart from a little missing thread-work on his nose and a scar on one glass eye, he is in very good condition. He has black thread toenails, and the same for nose and paws. He has a shaved snout from underchin to below eyes - don't know if this was original or not - it looks good and looks correct, but I can't find a comparable to bear to compare him with. He's a lovely little chap of unknown vintage. Probably 1980s or so.   « Less

Two matching antique five-arm Georgian chandeliers with prisms, circa 1910. These fixtures begin in an understated canopy and chain, moving down to a substantial volute loop finial. The upper body features gadrooning and rosebud details, with five U-shaped arms extending down around a centerpiece with a final foliate finial. The five chandelier arms support bobeches with leaf details, each hung with sparkling prisms. These lights are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all necessary attachments for modern installation. 18ct yellow gold ring, set with two recessed channel rows of diamonds. The gold is hallmarked for Birmingham, England. K18, 750. Eighteen diamonds in all, round brilliant cut, approx. 2 to 2.5 mm, estimated at a total of .81 carats. Quality is Very Good-Good make, K-N colour and S1-I1 clarity. Three stones are slightly loose in the setting, but are quite secure. Ring head measures 7.3mm (1/4 inch) wide at the head. Ring size is English O (USA size 7) with an internal diameter of 17.8 mm. Very good condition - has been worn with attendent scuffing at rear of finger area, but you could always have it buffed up if necessary - the face of the ring is beautiful. We have a retail sale valuation for this ring, at considerably more than we offer it for (and retail sale valuation is lower than an indemnity valuation).
