Antique cast iron elevator floor indicator with bronze numbers, circa 1915, salvaged from Philadelphia, PA. The dial features a fabulous gadrooned sunburst center. This floor indicator has an assortment of numbers that can be removed and/or repositioned; the numbers are 1,1,1,1,3,4,5,6,7,9. The dial measures 9-1/2” in diameter. Rare antique elevator emergency operation panel made by Otis Elevator Company, circa 1915, salvaged from Philadelphia, PA. This cast iron panel features an arched top, beveled details, and a handle lever. The distinctive Otis signature is surrounded by a decorative wreath and ribbon. A fabulous antique American stained glass window, dating from the early 1900s. The window features a stylized flower of red, amber and cream slag glass on a clear granite glass background. The window is bordered in a gorgeous green slag glass. The glass is in very good condition with two tight hairlines in the lower left corner (pictured) which are barely noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of the window. The frame has an aged painted finish and the usual wear to the glazing as shown. The window measures 23-3/4” wide by 26-7/8” tall and 1-1/4" thick, and the glass measures 19-3/4” wide by 22” tall. The window features a geometric design with a stylized flower of purple, blue, and pink on an amber hammered glass background. The window is bordered in a gorgeous green hammered glass. The glass is in very good condition with tight hairlines to the left of the flower and on the lower right border (pictured), which are barely noticeable and do not detract from the beauty of the window. The frame has an aged painted finish and the usual wear to the glazing as shown. The window measures 21-7/8” wide by 29” tall and 1-3/8" thick, and the glass measures 17-7/8” wide by 24” tall. This tin picnic basket-inspired box features a fabulous green and white plaid pattern with a hinged lid and movable wood handles. It is in good antique condition with minor dents and dings to the body, as pictured. Marvelous antique five-light figural flush mount chandelier with lions and a nautical theme, dating from the early 1900s. This fixture has a beautifully aged finish and features a simple flush mount canopy which tapers down to a decorative disc layer. Five substantial chandelier arms extend up and out from the body, with shields at the base, an oval panel with a ship and original polychrome accents, topped by two crowned lions. A square fitter with decorative details tops each bobeche. The downward facing bobeches feature a hammered texture and leaf details with an exposed bulb underneath. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The flushmount measures approximately 19" wide by 8" tall.   « Less

Fantastic antique five-light Tudor chandelier with fleur-de-lis details, dating from the 1920s. This fixture begins in an understated canopy and chain with a pierced Art Deco style loop finial. Beneath it is a small crenellated bowl and five thick limbs that extend down to create the dome-like body, attaching to a lower circular band. The band features an undulating upper edge and fleur-de-lis details, with five chandelier arms that curve up and out, supporting each bobeche. The pie crust bobeches feature a crimped edge and a downward facing horn finial. This chandelier is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The fixture measures 17-1/2" wide, 13-1/2" tall (body only), and 29" long overall.   « Less

Wonderful pair of antique cast bronze pocket door plates in Lockwood’s “Broken Leaf” pattern, patent dated August 10, 1886. The door escutcheons are ornamented with the unique asymmetrical “Broken Leaf” design, with an urn on one side and a tri-lobal leaf on the other, on a geometric background. The plates measure 2-3/16” wide by 4-1/8” tall, and 1/2” deep overall.   « Less

A magnificent antique cast bronze entry door hardware set in the “Verocchio” pattern by Russell & Erwin. This hard-to-find set features very high quality casting and a lovely patina; the doorknobs have a very innovative threaded design that can only be removed from the inside, for extra security. The doorknob is signed with the latest patent date of 1896; the doorplate is signed R&E and includes the pattern name. The doorknobs have a radial foliate design with a flower in the center; the doorplate has an intricate leaf design at both top and bottom. This entry set includes a pair of doorknobs with the connecting spindle, a Russwin mortise lock with lock cylinder, and a large exterior doorplate, an interior escutcheon, and a thumb turn. The larger door knob is 2-1/2” diameter and 2-3/8” deep; the smaller knob is 2-1/4” diameter and 2-3/8” deep. The lock has a 2-1/2” backset, and its faceplate is 7-3/4” by 1”. The exterior doorplate is 3” by 11-3/4”, and the interior rosette is 2-1/8” in diameter. The lock has been carefully examined and operates smoothly. NDKS166-RW   « Less
