**CALL 973-232-6514 TO SET TIME TO VIEW. CAR LOCATED IN WEST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY
THIS IS A MUST SEE VINTAGE CAR FOR THE PRICE I AM OFFERING -$11,650**
Garge-kept and well-maintained by a Cadilla club member, this will impress at any show. With a top-quality, professional repaint less than 10 years ago, she still shines up beautifully, with only minor blemishes that are easily touched up.
Mileage reading of 96,150 is an accurate estimate to the best of my knowledge. I bought the car at 65,000 miles 9 years ago shortly after the odometer had been replaced by the previous owner. Skeptical of the new odometer reading, I had several experts check it out and after inspection they assured me the mileage reading appeared to be accurate. Let me repeat that, as far as I know the present mileage is reasonably accurate.
Replaced, Driver-side & Passenger-side CV axle and front shocks.Adjustable air shock system installed in back keeps the rear suspension at correct height.Recently installed new (not rebuilt) master cylinder and new pads and shoes.Engine runs very well and has been recently tuned up, with new belts, new power steering hose, new fuel pump, new radiator, professionally-rebuilt carburetor, starter and A/C compressor. A/C blows cold. The powerful 8.2 liter V8 is a dream on the highway.Chrome and trim are in very good condition with only minor fading in the right rear lower bumper area, but not very noticeable. All glass is perfect.
Eldorado's of this era have a scissor-top convertible mechanism which allows for a full-size back seat. Convertible top is in good working and physical condition. Has a glass rear window, and if you know convertibles, this is a necessity! Included is a two-piece body-colored fiberglass parade boot that elegantly covers the convertible top when it's down. Nice touch! The engine bay has been recently refinished with POR-15 rust preventive paint and factory-correct topcoats.
The dash-board has been recently refreshed with no discernible cracks or tears. The instruments are in excellent working order and are complimented by the working clock with custom quartz mechanism. All power windows, power door locks, power seats, power top, wipers, washers, and lights work perfectly. Pioneer radio/cassette player sounds great. The one feature not presently operational is the cruise control, however all the parts are intact to get it working.
The interior is very clean, with white seats that were re-covered about the same time as the exterior re-paint, and have only minor wear with no serious rips or tears. The front door panels are in quite good condition showing minor wear. The back armrests have some cracking, typical of these cars, but not too bad. Carpets are in fairly good condition with some fading but no holes, rips or wear-through.
1972 was the least year before federally-mandated oversize bumpers and before complicated emissions restrictions. Well-proven, bullt-proof front wheel drive system, and 500 ci, 8.2 liter engine. Still featuring fender skirts, this is the last of hte truly elegant convertible sports luxury cruisers.
