A wonderful antique cast iron single-arm sconce in its original polychrome finish, dating from the 1920’s. This sconce was featured in an antique Moe-Bridges lighting catalog as shown, and Moe-Bridges observes, “The vogue toward Bracket Lights is becoming more pronounced.” And we can see why – it’s quite a delightful design. The sconce is crowned with a stylized red fleur-de-lis, with vines and flowers below. An oval torsade border surrounds the wrought iron sconce arm, which projects from the center of the sconce to support a double-tier foliate bobeche in autumn colors. This wall lamp is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switch for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace it with a new one if desired. The sconce measures 11-3/4” tall, 5-1/8” wide, and projects 6-7/8” from the wall. A matching pair of double-arm sconces is also available, item # NSP703-RW. NSP702-RW   « Less

These single-arm sconces each feature a round white porcelain backplate with chrome stripes and horizontal ribbing. The porcelain bobeches have the same stripe and ribbing details. These wall lamps would be fabulous for use over a bathroom mirror, especially with the working electrical outlets located on the underside of each arm extension. These sconces are in very good antique condition with minor chips to the porcelain as pictured; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. I have for sale an antique table magazine holder. I am not sure of it's excact age guessing 1940's It is a dark stained wood is about 2foot by 1 foot stands about 2 foot tall. I don't see any makers marks only thing on bottom side of table is 1431 stamped or burn into it. for the most part it is a good looking piece few scratches and a little what looks to be paint spatter specks on one end.. Vintage English oak Art Deco tall boy imported from England and dating back to the 1920's. There are 2 cabinet doors to the front with original drop handles with a swirl design. The doors open to reveal a large storage space and even the inside of the doors have a very pretty veneer. There are also 2 large drawers below the cabinet with square black knobs. The whole thing stands on 4 bun feet and has a Greek key design to the top edge. This very nice piece of furniture is made from oak with a darker finish and a wonderful aged patina. There is hardly any wear to it and it is in solid, sturdy condition. What a functional piece this is which could be used for so many things, even as an entertainment center, TV stand.
