circa: 1920 width: 66.5 height: 30.25 length: 42 This gorgeous antique oak gate leg table was crafted in England around 1920. The oak looks beautiful, with a lovely patina, a lustrous complexion and a striking grain. The turned ''gun barrel'' legs are also as elegant as they are sturdy. Because this is a gate leg table, it would make a perfect side or hall table when not fully opened, but when the need arises, at 5 1/2 feet long, this piece would make a great dining table for up to four people.Like most English-made furniture, this gate leg table boasts the highest quality, so it remains as sturdy now as the day it was made. The namesake gate legs also operate very smoothly and provide firm support to the swinging leaves. This table has, however, sustained a normal assortment of wear marks, so overall condition is very good. « Less

circa: 1940 width: 63 height: 30 length: 44 This gorgeous pedestal table was English-made around 1940 and recently imported to our furniture store here in Atlanta, GA. The overall design of the table is taken from the Georgian period, as evidenced in the pedestal structure itself, as well as in the turned columns and style of banding. The mahogany, satinwood and rosewood, having been treated to an elaborate finishing process, look fantastic together, particularly as a rich patina has begun to set into the wood over the past 60 years. The brass casters also provide a nice contrast to the mahogany base, while they also offer convenient mobility. This table does disassemble into the top and base, and this is how it will ship. Assembled, the table is very sturdy, although it has sustained some surface wear (see pics). Overall, therefore, the condition of this table is very good. « Less

circa: 2000 width: 87 height: 30 length: 42 This lovely English parquetry dining table was recently crafted and imported to our antique furniture store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. The wood used in this parquetry dining table is a fine, lustrous cherry with a distinct grain and rich complexion that look quite beautiful in the parquetry designs inlaid in the dining table top. Parquetry inlay is a very old technique developed early in the history of European furniture-making, when artisans during the Italian Renaissance began to experiment with wood inlays. As furniture makers discovered, the parquetry design boasts a particularly striking, unique appearance, and for that reason the design remains in use today by English furniture makers. The shaped table apron also looks quite elegant, while sinuous legs provide sturdy support to the dining table. There are a few small spots of wear (see pictures), as this English parquetry dining table is about 20 years old, although the table retains an excellent structural integrity. This parquetry dining table seats eight comfortably, so this can be used as a formal dining table for special occasions. As strong as it is beautiful, this English cherry parquetry dining table will last for generations to come, so making it a part of your home would be a wise investment! « Less

circa: 1780 width: 98 height: 29 length: 47 This amazing antique dining table was hand-crafted during the reign of George III around 1780. Few genuine English antiques survive from this period, and even fewer remain in such excellent condition as this table, so this is certainly a highly unique example of fine antique furniture. Moreover, the design of the table, which is really composed of three separate tables--two side tables and a central gate leg table--is not only very novel but is also quite versatile. For instance, when not in use as a full dining table, you can use the two ends as hall or side tables and do the same for the center or you can use the central table piece as a smaller dining table. This was a common design in the Georgian period, although it has now become entirely absent from contemporary English reproductions.Having been recently restored, the mahogany displays a deep, rich complexion and a subtle grain, both of which have grown more beautiful and distinct over the years with the development of a lovely patina. In addition to cathedral mahogany, this table also features extensive satinwood string and rosewood inlays. As was common with fine Georgian furniture, this table is finished on all sides. This means, for instance, that satinwood inlays adorn all four sides of the square tapered legs. The brass fasteners have recently been fitted to the table, as the original hardware has been lost. There is also a repaired crack as well as a few chips and scratches that are shown in the pictures in this listing. Otherwise, both cosmetic and structural condition remain excellent, especially for an antique furniture piece of such great age. This incredible George III dining table will continue to last for generations to come and would make a fantastic addition to any home! « Less

circa: 1950 width: 58 height: 29 length: 36 This beautiful antique style mahogany pedestal drop leaf dining table was crafted in England around 1950. Over the years, the mahogany has developed a lovely patina that contributes to its rich grain and lustrous complexion, which should only continue to grow more beautiful with time. The satinwood string inlay along the pedestal table top forms a lovely and subtle complement to the mahogany, while fluting along the legs and brass panther feet make for an elegant display. Because this pedestal table is also a drop leaf table, it is very versatile, perfect as a side table, hall table, serving table or dining table. The convenient pedestal design also means that this drop leaf table has a sturdy base and legs that are not too intrusive. Other than minor surface wear consistent with age, this pedestal table is in great cosmetic condition, while the structural integrity of the table is not as pristine as it once was, resulting in a slight wobble when the leaves are raised; the leaves also do not support a great deal of weight. Nevertheless, this pedestal drop leaf table would make a fine addition to any home or office furniture collection! « Less

circa: 1890 width: 38 height: 28 length: 38 This beautiful antique mahogany pembroke table was hand-crafted in Victorian England around 1890 and recently imported to our furniture store here in Atlanta, GA, USA. Over the years, the wood has developed a lovely patina that enriches the distinct, wispy mahogany grain and warm, lustrous complexion. This pembroke table includes a convenient drawer with a solid brass handle. Because this is a dropleaf table, this table offers great versatility for a wide variety of situations, and would make a great hall table when not in use for dining purposes. circa: 1890 width: 48 height: 31 length: 24 This charming antique marble-top walnut table was created in Victorian England around 1890. This table is made of solid walnut, which is a practice that has all but disappeared into the furniture world of today, given the rarity and expense of walnut. Over the years the walnut has developed a rich patina which adds to its beauty. The solid-brass scalloped drawer pulls contrasts wonderfully with its lustrous complexion. This Victorian table has been fitted with a substantial marble top with two frieze drawers. The drawers boast dovetailed joints in the front and rear which is rare even in a piece of this age. Whimsical hand-carved vines and leaves cover both drawers. A hand-carved skirt surrounds the front and sides of this piece and turned legs add to its decorative appeal. There are locks but no keys. There are some imperfections in the marble top (see pictures). This antique table originally functioned as a washstand but since it no longer has a backsplash it would function wonderfully as a side table or server. Otherwise, this antique Victorian table remains as sturdy as ever and will continue to function and grow more beautiful for generations to come! « Less
