Six matching double-arm sconces, circa 1905. These wall lamps retain their original nicely worn silver plate over brass. Each sconce features an elegant and understated oval backplate with a beaded border. A pair of graceful S-curved arms extend from the projected center of the plate, and each holds a bobeche with a beaded border and a gorgeous waterleaf candle cup. These wall lamps are in very good antique condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Condition of the finish varies as shown. The sconces measure approx. 10-3/4" tall, 11-3/4" wide and project 10" from the wall. The lantern body has unique cut-outs, exposing the original honey crackled glass behind it. The body also features small diamond details, and below is a ball finial. Beautiful pair of antique double-arm sconces attributed to E.F. Caldwell, circa 1900's. These wall lamps are in their original two-tone silver plate and brass finish. Each sconce is urn-shaped with a tassel finial and features intricate acanthus, scrollwork, and leaf details. The body of the sconce is ribbed. The sconce arms are S-shaped and extend away from the body to each support a beautiful bobeche with beaded trim at the top. These wall lamps are in excellent condition with a beautifully aged finish; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired.
