Louise Hervieu, born in Alencon in 1878 and died at Versailles in 1954, is a painter, illustrator and writer.
Louise Hervieu since childhood reveals a talent for drawing.
Discouraged after the failure of his only exposure to oil painting in 1910, she abandoned painting in favor of the drawing.
It will illustrate the Flowers of Evil and Paris Spleen by Baudelaire. Itself publishes collections of drawings and novels she intersperses his illustrations.

Two matching antique pendant lights with glass shades, dating from the early 1900's. Each fixture features an understated brass canopy and fitter with a beautifully gadrooned glass globe. These pendant lights are in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks to the glass, just the expected fleabites around the rim. The chandeliers have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. Fantastic antique Arts & Crafts lantern with slag glass, dating from the early 1900's. This fixture begins with an understated canopy, and a loop finial with a sloped roof below. The lantern body features gorgeous amber slag glass and hand-riveted tabs holding the glass. The bottom of the six-sided lantern has raised circles creating its border. This light fixture is in very good antique condition and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected flea bites around the rim. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This light fixture measures 7" wide, 10-3/4" tall (body only), and 25-3/4" tall overall. This lantern would be suitable for either interior or exterior use.

Handsome antique three-light chandelier with glass shades, dating from the 1920's. This pan light fixture begins with an understated canopy, which extends down to an elegantly curved loop finial. The iron upper chandelier body is urn-shaped, while the lower body is an inverted dome with a ball finial below. The underside of the ball finial has a floral design with heart-shaped petals. The iron chandelier arms extend from the brass underside of the inverted dome and curve upwards, featuring gorgeous acanthus leaves and scrollwork. The original glass shades hanging from each arm are beautifully textured with ripple glass and beaded glass trim. This light fixture is in very good antique condition and the glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected flea bites around the rim. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 18-1/2" wide, 18" tall, and 35" tall overall.

Two matching fabulous antique Arts and Crafts American stained glass windows, dating from the early 1900's. Each window features a geometric design of striking colors in granite and slag glass. The border is a beautiful purple and green-ish slag glass, centered by a dual design of geometric figures. These figures are reminiscent of skyscrapers, with green granite glass accented by pink slag glass. Above, is an assortment of different sized triangles, in deep amber granite, a dark blue slag, sky blue slag, and red glass. Surrounding them is a gorgeous green and gold slag glass. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, and the frames are in very good antique condition with some paint splatters and slight peeling paint. Each window measures 24-1/2" wide and 26" tall, with a frame 2" thick, and the glass measures 20" wide by 21" tall. THE PRICE LISTED IS FOR ONE WINDOW; THERE IS NOW ONLY ONE AVAILABLE.
Please note that, while the available window is the exact same design as the one pictured, we sold the actual window in the picture and so there are some minor variations in the slag glass and the paint on the frame.

Magnificent antique tiger oak fireplace mantel salvaged from a circa 1915 home. The mantel is crowned by two beveled levels stair-stepping down to a beautifully carved center bracket featuring scrolls, anthemion and floral details. The top portion of the mantel is flanked by matching carved orbs on either side, accented by scrolling foliage. Underneath each orb is a shelf that sits atop gorgeous ionic column capitals that begin each mantel leg. Each of these column capitals is ornamented with a cherub figure and intricate floral and leaf details. Between the mantel legs is an arched, beveled mirror that sits atop a shelf just above the firebox opening. Below the thick shelf is a single central bracket with a pelta adornment, jutting down into the firebox opening. This quarter sawn mantel is in very good condition. It measures approximately 63" wide, 102" tall, and 16" deep, and has a firebox opening of 41 3/4" wide and 41 3/4" tall (not including the projecting bracket).

An exquisite antique hand carved Federal poplar mantel, salvaged from an 1823 home in Columbia, Tennessee, outside Nashville. The house was designed by architect Nathan Vaught and finished in 1823 for Major John Brown II, who named the house “Annoatuck,†an Indian word meaning “a windy hill.†The mantel's top edge is beveled, moving down to a scoop pattern border. Below the projecting shelf is a unique rectangle and dart patterned trim. Below are panels made up of beautifully fluted starburst, fan and oval details. The mantel's legs are also fluted, giving each the appearance of a square doric column. The mantel is in very good condition. It measures 91" wide, 61" tall and 9-1/8" deep, and has a firebox opening of approximately 55-1/2" wide and 40" tall. A coordinating mantel from the same home is also available for purchase, NFPM19-RW. Doors, windows, and wainscoting from the same house are also available.

A gorgeous antique Federal hand carved poplar mantel, salvaged from an 1823 home in Columbia, Tennessee, outside Nashville. Wonderful antique Federal poplar mantel, dating between the late 1700's and early 1800's. This mantel was salvaged from a Franklin, TN home and features incredible ribbed details throughout. The mantel's top edge is beveled, and below the projecting shelf is a unique rectangle and dart patterned border. Underneath is a central raised panel with narrow ribbing, flanked on opposite ends of the mantel by smaller ribbed panels . The mantel's legs are ribbed in the same pattern, giving each the appearance of a square doric column. The mantel is in very good condition. It measures 76" wide, 56-1/4" tall and 8-1/4" deep, and has a firebox opening of approximately 46-1/4" wide and 37-1/4" tall.
