For sale is a lovely vase with a Wonderful Glaze combination made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is "Carnelian II" and the shape is a Double Handled Flaring Vase. The Vase is large as it measures 8 1/8" tall and is 6 7/8" in diameter outside handles measurement.
The Vase displays a Wonderful example of this Carnelian II Glaze. There is a deep rich Purple Wisteria Glaze that drips down from the top over the edge and down towards the bottom of the Vase. It swirls into a Pink to Dusty Rose Bubble Gum Glaze at the bottom. It is then Marbleized with a lighter hue of Plum, more like Raspberry and Lilac. The Glaze is Goopy and drippy as you can see an feel the thickness around the pot. It kinds of reminds me of Cotton Candy as the Glaze Looks that Yummy. It is accented with Two Applied Art Deco Styled Handles that rise up off the bottom waist and connect at the base of the tall Flaring Neck.
The vase is considered to be in Excellent Condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The piece is not signed on the bottom and more than likely had a Paper or Foil Label. The Vase does have the number 332 written in a Red Grease Pencil. This is as good as a signature as it is Roseville Shape Number 332-8 in their Carnelian Line. There is also the number 7 written in a Blue Grease Pencil just under the shape number and is most likely the finishers mark. This Shape was adapted from the Carnelian I Line. This was not uncommon for Roseville to do this with the Carnelian II line in their earlier years of this particular pattern. The inside of the Pot shows just how wonderful and Goopy this Glaze really is. There are pools of glaze all over the interior
The piece has an Art Deco Appeal. This Vase is all about the Glaze and Form and this one has it all. This is a great example of this particular glaze and I'm quite sure the buyer will not be disappointed. The Vase was made circa, 1915-1927.

For sale is a very lovely Art Pottery Basket Vase made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The design is the ever popular, "Snowberry" pattern. It is done in the most sought after Blue background Glaze. The Basket is rather large as it stands 8 1/4" tall and is 9" in diameter outside handle measurements.
The Vase depicts very pleasing clusters of White Berries with a handful of detained green leaves on brown winding branches flowing from the top to the bottom. This is set against a background Glaze that bleeds from a medium blue to a Rosie Blue in the middle and back to a medium at the bottom. There is a Triangular Shaped Styled Handle that loops over from the top lip and attaches to the other sides waist. This gives this piece that Art Deco flair!
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There is some very minor crazing and this seem to be typical with this glaze especially with the basket shape. The Vase is signed with the "Roseville U.S.A." Raised Relief Cipher Mark along with the mold number "1BK-8" also in raised relief. The "BK" Stands for Basket. There is also a raised letter 3 in the bottom glaze. I'm not sure what this means.
This is truly a lovely Basket Vase in a very desirable Glaze color. The Vase was made Circa 1947, just after World War II

For sale is a wonderful Matte Green Ferner made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is known as " Ming Tree" and it is done in their most Popular Blue Glaze. Each Candlestick measures approximately 2 1/4" tall and is 4 1/8" wide.
The Candlesticks has a wonderful Sky Blue background Glaze accented with Brown Branches and White Puffs of Foliage. Roseville called this Blue Glaze (Celestial Blue). The Candlesticks display a very realistic Twisted Bonsai Tree with Brown Branches that protrude from each side of the Candle Hole opening and the Foliage Rising up from a Branch. The Glaze is a high Gloss and it gives these sticks a Reflective appearance.
The Candlesticks are considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, dents or dings. There is the usually crazing that is common to this high gloss glaze. The Candlesticks are signed on the bottom with Embossed "Roseville U.S.A. 551" in raised relief. There is also a letter X written in blue Grease pencil along with the number 2 and the letter C with 2 Dashes. More than likely these are the finishers marks. These Candlesticks are not a common find in this Patter. In fact the Pattern itself is Hard to Find.
I'm sure the lucky Buyer will be very pleased with their purchase. These candlesticks were made, Circa 1949 and are considered late in the Roseville Production Years. « Less

For Auction is a beautiful piece of Art Pottery made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The shape is a Pillow Vase and the pattern is the highly sought after "Iris". The Vase measures approximately 8 3/8" tall and is 6 1/2" outside handle measurement. The Vase measures 3 3/8" deep.
The Vase displays very Natural Embossed Iris Flowers in a White Glaze with Pale Pink Overspray and Yellow Flower Centers. The Background is a very pleasing Salmon Pink that graduates to a Sage Green overspray on the foot. The Iris's are blooming and have embossed Medium Green Colored Leaves nestled underneath them. You can see Iris Flower Buds that haven't quite opened yet as well. The Piece is accented on each side with handles that start at the waist and extend upwards to the shoulder of neck of the vase. I would call these Stepped Buttress Style Handles.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. There are no excuses to be made for this piece as it is an excellent example in both form and Glaze. The Vase is signed on the bottom with the impressed "Roseville" mark along with the mold number "922-8". There is also a hand inscribed "x" which is most likely the finisher's mark. There is also a couple of illegible grease pencil marks from the artist as well.
This is a very lovely piece of Art Pottery made by Roseville Pottery. I'm sure the lucky buyer will be delighted with their purchase. The Pink Pillow Vase is not as common as the Blue so you pink Iris Collectors do not let this one slip by. This piece was made, Circa 1939 « Less

For sale is a very Lovely Vase made by The Fulper Pottery Company of Flemington, NJ. The Vase is called a "Double Handled Swollen Shoulder Vase" and it is done in one of Fulper Pottery's most beautiful glaze combinations. The Vase is rather large as it stands 7 9/16" tall and is 6 1/4" wide outside Shoulder/Handles Top measurement.
The Vase depicts a Rose Famille background Glaze that is accented with a Deep Speckled Green over Olive Flambé with Blue undertones. The Glaze Drippings and Runs are just wonderful as you can see. The Swollen Form is accented with 2 Handles that Rises out of the shoulder and attaches to the Cylindrical Raised Lip flush or even with the top opening. The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. Usually there are several small glaze pops with Fulper's Glazes. I am extremely pleased to report only 1 glaze pin pop on the entire piece.
The Vase is marked on the underside bottom with Fulper's Racetrack Ink Stamp Signature mark. This would date this Vase to be made Circa 1922-1928. This form used to be fairly common to see but I have seen very few examples in the past few years. This is a real Popular Shape with the Fulper Pottery Collectors and was known as shape number 643 in the Fulper Catalog Pages. It appears that the collectors are hanging on to these beauties.
This is a wonderful example of this Form and Glaze from Fulper. There are 4 felt tabs on the bottom of the Vase to protect your furniture. The estate this came from was loaded with Gustav Stickley Furniture. I'm sure the Lucky Buyer will be very pleased with their purchase. This would look outstanding on that Stickley, Mission, Arts and Crafts style Bookcase. « Less

The Vase Stands 7 1/8" tall and is 6" in diameter at its widest point which is the top handles outside mesaurement. The top opening is 2 3/4" inside diameter and 3 1/4" outside diameter.
I would call this shape a "Deco Jennie Bottle" Vase with 2 Applied Handles. The Leaves with Moss Green Glaze is simply Striking and realistic looking. The Vase displays a Water Lily Design that consist of a Large Embossed open Water Lily Flower on a watery Blue background of horizontal wavy ridges. The large Blossom is surrounded by Large Green Leaves and a Bud. This is one of Roseville's Most Popular Patterns and Glazes.

For sale is an adorable piece of art pottery made by the Weller Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The pattern is the very desirable "Muskota" and it is a flower frog. The piece measures approximately 1 15/16" tall and is 5 3/4" in length. It measures 3 5/16" deep.
A favorite among the Muskota collectors, the piece depicts a lobster resting in a bed of seaweed. The detail on this lobster makes him look like a delicious meal! The lobster has crisp details to show the details in his shell and legs. His eyes and face have careful detailing to complete this naturalistic flower frog. The lobster is glazed in a soft orange with some darker browns to bring out the seperation of each part of his shell. The seaweed he is resting on is glazed in a blended soft moss green to olive green. There are eight flower frog holes.
The flower frog is considered to be in Excellent condition as there are no cracks, chips, nicks or dings. The piece is signed with the block letter Weller logo.
This flower frog was made Circa 1915-1926.

For sale I have a Very Beautiful Tile made by The Rookwood Pottery Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. The piece is called a "Tea Trivet" Tile. It is a very pleasant size as it measures 5 5/8" Square and is only 5/8" Tall.
The Tile Displays a very beautiful Southern Belle Lady in her Long Gown and Bonnet along with a Shawl wrapped around her shoulders. There are wonderful vivid pastel colors of Rose, Sage Green, Periwinkle Blue and Purples. These are against a background of a creamy matte white Glaze. The tile sits on 8 applied feet on the bottom. There are a lot of Glaze Colors in this Tile. I can count 8 different Glazes in it.
The piece is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The only issue to report is some minor peppering in the different glazes around the tile. This happens quite often with the Tea Trivet Tiles. When you put a much lighter colored tile in the oven after much darker items were in the oven beforehand the lighter glaze can pick up small pepper spots in the glaze. There is also a very minor glaze skip on the side of the tile. I have shown a picture of this. This does not hurt the Value what so ever.
The piece is signed with the Impressed Reverse RP Rookwood Pottery and Sunburst Logo along with the Roman Numerals "XX" for the year of manufacture, 1920. There is also the mold number "3070" impressed just below the date. This is a quality Tile made one of America's foremost Pottery Manufacturers of the early 20th Century. I'm quite sure the luck buyer will be very pleased with their Purchase!! « Less

For sale is a lovely vase made by The Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. The Pattern is called "Pinecone" and it is done in their Green background glaze. This pattern and color is one of Roseville's most desirable to Collect. The Vase is rather large as it stands 8 1/ 4" tall and is 7 1/2" wide outside handles measurements. The foot has a diameter if 3 7/8".
The Vase has a very pleasing soft Green background Glaze with undertones of white glaze on the center body of both sides. The Vase depicts a pair of realistic handles in the form of a branch. These are attached just under the neck. On each side of the Vase is a Brown Pine cone nestled between Pine Needles that protrude out from the bottom and top. These pine needles extend out from the Pine cone. The Pine cone is Crisper and more detailed on one side than the other. One of the Pine cones sits at the top of one handle on one side and the bottom of the handle on the opposite side. The inside has a wonderful creamy beige glaze and is extremely clean inside.
This was Frank Ferrell's most popular design that he ever created while working at The Roseville Pottery Company. In fact, the company would have had to close it doors if it wasn't for the success of this line in the Mid to Late 1930's. The Pinecone line was considered the most Popular Line ever made at Roseville Pottery and that is still evident today. There are 4 colors that the Pinecone Line was made in and they are Blue, Brown, Green and Pink. Pink Commands the Highest Price and is Rarely seen. Blue Commands the next highest price with Brown and Green not too far behind.
The Vase is considered to be in excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The piece is signed on the bottom with the Incised "Roseville" mark along with the mold number 844-8". This is a quality piece of art pottery that will enhance any art pottery collection, especially those of you who collect Roseville Green Pinecone.
This Vase was made Circa 1935-45. « Less
