Persian turquoise is the finest in the world.....it grows with no veins. Gold tested with 14K acid. Wires are also 14K gold. Each earring measures 1 3/4 inches long with wire and 1 1/2 inches long without wire. The earrings are 1/2 inch wide at their widest. Each pendant light features a gorgeous blue-green shade and has a darkened brass canopy. These light fixtures are in excellent condition; they have been professionally wired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This is a fantastic antique cast bronze drum-shaped doorknob and matching back plate in the “Broken Leaf” pattern by Lockwood Manufacturing Company. Patented in 1886, this sought-after door hardware features an unusual asymmetrical design of a vase of flowers, surrounded by foliage with bent stems. The door knob features a drum shape, which is more uncommon than its rounded counterpart. This set is in very good antique condition, with the knob showing some signs of use. The doorknob measures 2 ¼” in diameter and 1 ¾” deep; the plate is 6 5/16 by 1 ½”. Please note that we have only one plate and one door knob in this set. NDKS28-RW   « Less

The chandelier begins with a sleek brass canopy, coming down in a pole to a smooth body with baluster-shaped arms extending outward. Each arm supports a simple shade holder with a white glass globe. This light fixture is in excellent condition with a fantastic patina; the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, just the expected fleabites around the rims. Elegant arms ornamented with leaves and volutes support simple wax pans and candle cups; the arms are joined by a sleek bronze ring that runs around the entire chandelier. Anglo-Indian Western India hand carved rosewood Davenport desk from Bombay India circa 1860-1870. Birds and snakes are finely carved in an all over design. The desk has a pierced carved gallery over the hand tooled leather topped writing slope, with four interior drawers. The body is raised on two front carved winged bird with snake columns, backed by carved case holding a secret pen drawer on side, which is activated by puling the interior bottom left drawer pull. The pen four drawers, all over ornately carved dog feet. Measures 52.75 inches to top of its back splash, 24 inches deep, 24 inches wide and 33.5 inches to the middle of its writing surface.
