A rare Caughley miniature teapot handpainted with the island pattern. They are a real delight to study and hold. This little teapot has suffered a little during its life. There is a fine spiralling body crack which appears old and is quite possibly a result of thermal fracture, also a small section of the lid inner rim missing. This is a fine example that deserves to have survived and still displays beautifully. Marked with the printed Salopian 'S'. Measures 7.5 cms high overall. These are four matching antique single-arm brass Neoclassical sconces, c. 1920’s. Each sconce features a round convex backplate crowned with foliate detail. A matching foliate appliqué connects the arm to the bottom of the backplate; the arm supports a sleek brass bobeche. These wall lamps are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. These are four matching antique brass Neoclassical sconces, c. 1920’s. These single-arm sconces feature a nicely shaped backplate with a triple beveled edge. Each sconce has an elegant arm that begins in a volute and ends in a bead-and-reel wax pan and candle cup. These wall lamps are in good antique condition; they have some minor dings to the top and bottom of the backplates (pictured) that are barely noticeable. They have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. We kept the original nonfunctioning turn switches for nostalgia’s sake; however, we will gladly replace them with new ones if desired.
