This antique set, truly dinner size,is very showy on the table, distinguished by its fluted bowls reflecting light. Please note the beading on the shanks,a rare detail on current silver patterns. It has no monograms, no removals. This pattern was issued by Towle Silversmiths c. 1895. This sterling silver set dates prior 1930 as the pieces do not have TOWLE printed on the shanks; they only have the Towle hallmark. Included pieces: 10 teaspoons, 12 dinner knives,12 dinner forks, 9 salad forks, 8 cream soup spoons, 10 flat butter spreaders, 9 cocktail forks,pierced tomato server, 3 serving tablespoons, sugar spoon, 2 gravy ladles, 2 pickle forks, 2 butter spreaders, hollow handle (handy for serving cheese) ,master butter knife. This is a superb antique Gothic Revival figural cast iron summer cover and surround, dating from the 19th Century. This is an unusual four-piece set, depicting a knight in armor above a shield surrounded with vines, and the surround is ornamented with trefoils and faux rivets. The lower vent opens and closes. This fireplace cover would be a wonderful addition to any Gothic Revival, Tudor, or Spanish Revival décor. This set is in very good antique condition, with aged paint and some rust. These are two matching antique five-light Neoclassical chandeliers in their original silver plate, dating from the 1920’s. Each chandelier begins with an elegant canopy ornamented with a swag design. Below, the chandelier body begins with a large, draped loop finial. Below, five chandelier arms, ornamented underneath with drapery detail, support leaf-and-dart bobeches with dangling foliate finials. The arms are connected by intricate swags, and the chandelier finishes below in a flower with a dangling finial hanging from the center. These light fixtures are in excellent condition; they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation.
