Late 1800s vanity jar - pretty cut crystal round base with starburst pattern central underneath. The silver lid has an embossed design of flowers and scrolled leaves. Blank central presentation panel. The sides of the silver top have dents - rather hidden in the busy embossing - and this has rendered the hallmark unreadable. However you can just make out the lion passant denoting British silver. There are also two holes in this area of the silver., more noticeable from the inside of the lid than the outer edge. Minor tiny frits to one area of the crystal top rim. Presents well. Measures 7.9 cm high. Lid is 7.2 cm diameter, and the base is 6.3 cm diameter. « Less
