Rare, antique, 19th century, Central Asian Islamic Turkoman Tekke horse jewellery, silver-mounted leather, horse trapping Neckband. The upper surface decorated and constructed of 6 rows of small continuous interlocking silver plaques riveted to the leather, enclosed by silver bars at the ends. The central Shaped shield enriched with large oval carnelians stone, extremely well made by Turkmen silversmith.
This Type of horse jewelry was very expensive and exclusively affordable only for upper class (Nobility) of Turkmen people. Due to the richness and beauty of the jewelry it was also used by the aristocracy of other Islamic countries, as a symbol of wealth and high rank. A similar Turcoman Tekke Neckband is in the Powerhouse Museum Collection, Sidney Australia, which belongs to the Afghani King's elite cavalry. Please see the link below.

A very rare example of antique 19th century Islamic dagger, Bichaq, from the famous Central Asian Islamic Emirate of Bukhara, previously Turkistan, present - day Uzbekistan.
DETAILS: Slightly curved, single - edge, sturdy steel blade cut with full length narrow fuller below the spine.
A slender hilt formed of two pieces of dark brown horn, retained by three rivets, complete with white metal ferrule and pommel.
Bukhara weapons are extremely rare compared to Turkish, Indian, Persian, or Caucasian weapons. This region was not heavily populated and warriors were a very small percentage of the population. The Bukhara arms are hardly ever seen in museums, including museums in Russia.
REFERENCES: A similar dagger is in the famous Henri Moser collection of Islamic arms and armour in Charllotenfels, Switzerland, and had been collected during his travel, in the 19th century, through central Asia.

Authentic, Antique American Civil War cavalry sword, saber: dated 1864 (Model 1860), made by Mansfield & Lamb of Forestdale, Rhode Island.
Details: An extremely long, slightly curved, single edged steel blade, cut with a broad full-length fuller, and a slender fuller along the back-edge, very well marked, ricasso stamped on the outer site with production date 1864. C.E.W (the inspector initials) and U.S. The inner site stamped with maker’s mark of the Mansfield & Lamb Company of Forestdale, Rhode Island. Blade has the original leather washer.
A regulation cross hilt with a three bar guard, and brass pommel stamped on the top with additional inspector marking, a spirally – grooved wooden grip with remains of the wire wrap. The sword is in its original steel scabbard with two suspension rings. This Mansfield & Lamb Civil War cavalry saber has a rare 1864 production date.

CONDITION: In the same condition as was found, with its original patina showing the age and usage, lack of the leather binding and the wire wrap.

A Semi-antique, heavy silver inlaid, copper “Cairoware†presentation, commemorative plate, commemorating The Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps (RCAPC) service in Egypt, during the Suez Crisis.
The center inlaid in heavy silver with the badge of the Royal Canadian Army Pay Corps is officially described as follows:
Within the Garter and motto "HONI. SOUT. QUI. MAL. Y. PENSE", a beaver resting on a log; below the garter and supported by a spray of six maple leaves, a scroll inscribed "RCAPC"; the whole surmounted by the Crown.
Below, EGYPT 1957. Within the border adorned by chunky silver inlay, finely hand chiseled with continuous ancient Egyptian motives, including figures of pharaoh’s obelisks figure of gods’, pyramids and others symbols, on the punched surface, the scalped rim bordered by silver inlay, and engraved stylized lotus flowers.
Diameter: 34.9cm (13 3/4 in).
CONDITION: In very good condition with a 100% silver inlay intact.

The hand – forged, stout, steel head, of elegant shaped form and slightly curved cutting edge with central block, and a rear-hammer with flat rectangular face, mounted on a, slightly tapering, wooden haft of oval section with the hole for a cord suspension.
CONDITION: In good condition considering its age, showing the age and usage. The wooden haft is a later replacement; the original haft was much longer than the present one.

Antique 16th century Turkish Ottoman leather water flask (Matara) formed from the hind-quarters of an animal with stitching down the middle of the flask, one leg acting as the spout, the other shortened and stitched, acting as a small handle, retained its original wooden stopper. The Matara leather water flasks were very popular in Turkish Ottoman Army.
MEASUREMENTS: Height: from the top of the stopper to the bottom of the base: 34.8 cm (13 3/4 in).
CONDITION: In its original condition, showing the age and usage, with a dark brown patina.

Turkey, 16th Century, at a Estimate Price: £2,000 - 3,000 US$ 3,200 - 4,700 €2,300 - 3,500.
This water flask is the prototype for a shape which was copied in far more lavish and durable materials from the sixteenth century. A famous example in gemset rock crystal is in the Topkapi Palace Collection (Atil, E.: The Age of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent, exhibition catalogue, Washington D.C., 1987, no.60, p.129. Two copies were also made in pottery at Iznik. One is published by Atasoy and Raby (Atasoy, N and Raby, J.: Iznik -- the Pottery of Ottoman Turkey, London, 1989, no.634, while the other, painted in the 'Damascus' palette, is in a private collection. For a metal prototype in the Sadberk Hanim Museum, see, Bodur, Fulya, The Art of Turkish Metalworking, Istanbul, 1987, p.112, pl.A.55.
