Tea and Coffee service, French or German porcelain with stunning ART NOUVEAU relief florals. The motif is of delicate lilies and leaves which is carried out on all the pieces. Each cup has little lily pads surrounding the foot, and the pattern is repeated on the bases of the serving pieces. There are a coffee decanter and lid, tea pot and lid, sugar bowl and lid, creamer, 8 cups, 9 saucers. The porcelain bears only gilt numbers 3325. Dimensions: Coffee Carafe 11 3/4", Tea Pot 8 3/4", Creamer 7". Sugar 7 1/4", Cups 3 1/2", Plates 5 1/2" Condition: Excellent. One very minor chip on foot of Coffee server, a frit on a stem of leaf on lid. No wear to gilt. Truly an Incredible find.   « Less

Rare Wedgwood Jasperware coronation tea set. What makes this set extra unusual is the fact that Edward VIII was never coroneted. He abdicated the throne to marry an American divorcee before his coronation could take place. Besides it's historical significance and rarity, this set is a fine example of Wedgwood Jasperware with a brilliant blue color and crisp, pure white decoration. An identical set is in the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. The set is fresh from a local Brooklyn estate and appears to be unused. Unfortunately, the spout of the tea pot was damaged when we received it so we have had it professionally restored and no damage is visible to the naked eye. Alas, this renders it suitable for display only. The very top of the cover on the sugar also looks slightly rough but I believe this is original to it's making. We have many additional pictures available. Tea pot 5" tall x 9" wide x 6 1/2" deep, sugar bowl 4 3/4" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 5" deep, creamer 2 1/2" tall x 5" wide x 4" deep.   « Less

Large English Aesthetic Movement chocolate pot. This is yet another example of the Late Victorian obsession with Asian motifs. Everything about this fine piece of English ceramics is inspired by the Orient, from the flowers and the stylized, raised gold branches to the dragon handle. Fully marked Semi-China, Furnival & Sons England. Good condition with wear to the gilding on the cover and the spout and crackle to the glaze. 10" tall x 8" wide x 4 1/2" deep.   « Less
