This original world famous French Order founded by Napoleon I is France's highest civil and military decoration, and one of the most beautiful decorations in the world. The medal "Chevalier de la Legion d'Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honor) offered here is made in silver, with a white enameled star of five rays on a wreath of leaves The center section of this medal is missing. There is some enamel damage on both sides.one is a little more obvious than the other.This is really a very pretty medal and personally I think it makes a wonderful pendant.
