The creme de la creme of Belleek porcelain is set before your eyes with this very rare tea set.
Two qualities make this one stand out. The first is the condition of the set - it is immaculate. But don't let this fool you into thinking it is new. The backstamp on the back is another indicator of the age of the set which dates to c. 1870 or so.
These tea services are quite rare in any circumstance but to find one so early is a rare pleasure.
The pattern is the classic basket weave so well known and loved of Belleek in the creamy ivory finish.
You will have to search high and low to find another one of these and our bet is that you will not be able to find one. « Less
