Vienna bronze style These are lovely and very decorative. They still are coated in layers of old wax having been used for a very long time. This set has been with me since 1985. This is a lovely patinated bronze clad pair of figural nymph candleholders. They are figures created by Russian artist Olga Popova who is listed in Fieldings and are stamped MP on the front tips. They are made for Muller and copyrighted in 1923 stamped on both pieces. The figures are draped from the waist down and have bare chests and feet. The candleholders are balanced on the heads and held in place with upturned arms. They were purchased from an upstate New York estate about twenty years ago. A single of these candleholder sold in Jamestown Rhoad Island in 1989 for $1,000. The condition is aged appropriate. This beautiful centerpiece and candle holders is Italian Capodimonte, entirely hand made and glazed. The color is the natural white with a glossy glaze. It is in very good condition, with only minor repairs and some tiny chips, not easily visible. The repairs are to two of the stems and the tip of one leaf. Photos show the areas. They do not detract from the beauty of this piece; the tiny chips are difficult or impossible to find, even knowing where to look (I used a magnifying glass and 1/2 hour to go over the piece). This item is extremely delicate, and that there are no missing pieces is exceptional. To be packaged and shipped fully insured.Condition: good, Circa early to mid 1900's, Italy. Marked on the bottom of each piece with the crowned N of Naples, and Made in Italy on the two candle holders.Center piece dimensions: Height: 6 in. (15.24 cm) x Depth: 8.5 in. Westmoreland Glass Company originally promoted these as vases, but later advertisements from the company listed them as vase/candles. These are the No. 1776 Jack-in-the-Pulpit candleholders, which were manufactured from 1967 to 1970. They measure 6 inches tall and are in mint condition, with no chips, flakes, or flea bites. Offered for your consideration are a pair of #1338 triple candelabras made by the Cambridge Glass Co. between 1932 and 1937. The bases of the candleholders are etched with the elusive Chintz No. 1 etching (Cambridge Etch 758) encrusted with gold. This etching was only used on candelabrum and console bowls. The glass is in mint condition with no chips, flakes, flea bites, or cloudiness. There is only very minor wear to the gold inlay.
