An interesting brass candleholder from the revival period. We have seen a number of these through the years with various bases and candle cups, however the standing man figure is always the same. Some have better detail than others and a few we have seen have no detail at all. This one is a nice example that had a fair amount of detail, now worn from years of use. These seem to be products of the early 20th century, but this form has been around for centuries. Some believe they are Russian Cossacks, but they are most likely products of Pakistan or India.
