Mint condition—no chips, cracks or repairs—on this scarce, entirely hand-painted bowl by Waechtersbach of Germany. As shown, this bowl features a landscape scene of Heidelberg, Germany showing the city’s famed Heidelberg Castle and the Old Bridge. The bowl is artist-signed with the initials “RB’ at the bottom right.
This bowl measures 6 ½†in diameter and stands on a collar base where the impressed Beehive mark and 9281/3., Dec. 6022 and “handgemalt†are found. A scarce example of artist-signed Waechtersbach.
