Excellent condition--no chips, cracks or repairs--on this hand-made art pottery vase. As the title indicates, we're not certain what to make of this particular vase. It is signed in script, though not entirely legible to us, and our best guess is Fierney. This is a particularly nice vase with mahogany brown trim at top and bottom and a mottled pale blue and violet glaze forming a wide band around the piece with incised striations.
The vase measures 4" tall by 6 1/4" wide and, as mentioned, is signed in script on the base. Perhaps someone out there will know. A beautiful example, if nothing more.
