This is a very early vintage hanging Sputnik lamp, not a later reproduction. Retains its original wiring. Bulbs are a mix of correct new replacement 'Starlight' bulbs and very rare vintage phosporescent bulbs. These vintage bulbs are very delicate. They appear white when unlit, but turn them on and they glow with amazing soft pastel colors: green, pink, yellow, choral. Brings to mind the planets with stars above. Lamp works well, ceiling plate is included. One of the 12 sockets has a slight bend, but it's hardly noticeable, only mentioned for accuracy. Could use a little more polishing, but it really makes an awesome statement. This lamp really makes a mid-century room!
