Circa early 20th century, egg scissors in the form of a rooster. Signed by the very well regarded German maker E.D. Wusthof, Solingen. It is quite heavy for it's size and I am not sure if the body of the rooster is silver and vermeil or brass with silver detail. The cutting blade appears to be stainless steel. Wonderfully detailed from the cock's comb to it's talon feet. Very good "as found" condition with no damage or repair. This fine piece would be a fine addition to any collection. 5 1/4" long x 2 1/2" wide.
