Antique L.F. & G New Britain Conn no 2 universal food grinder. Piece is made of what seems to be cast Iron. The piece is very clean with nice patina, and no signs of rust. Has a wooded handle. The handle turns nicely. The piece attaches to counter with a screw.It has embossed on it information of several patents: BREVETTE GREAT BRITAIN 2432697; SG.DG.1897 and D.R.P. NO. 104762; BELGIUM 139446. It also has: CANADA PAT. OCT. 12, 1897.
SIZE: 9-1/2" in length from top to key which is all the way screwed.
