Rare antique French hallmarked silver cigarette box. This is an extremely rare, beautifully made and very unusual cigarette table box. The first compartment opens to keep the cigarettes, the second compartment keeps matches, the third compartment opens to reveal a removable ashtray with matching French silver hallmarks. The bottom compartment door when open becomes a match striker. What an ingenius composition. May have been made for royalty. The top compartment doors have cabochon sapphires. The top has a beautiful design continuing along the sides of the box. It s in excellent condition. Some very minor dings on the underside of the box simply mentioned for accuracy.
